It was a bit difficult to find, arriving in the dark despite the owners many messages and photographs. All looked different in the dark! Maybe he could do a video to follow from the point of needing to turn left not right at the big parking sign and then down to our parking area and allocating parking area. Parking wasn’t easy. And it was a short walk up hill to the property. But when we arrived the room was beautifully presented with inviting lighting.

Its location. Peaceful and beautiful . Right on the cliff edge. Wonderful sunsets. Its furnishings were good quality and well co-ordinated. Room was spacious

There is a small step from the kitchen to the living area which is easy to miss :-)

Location and view from the terrace was just beautiful. Breakfast, served to our terrace, clearly exceeded our expectation in its variety and volume. The apartment is spacious and ideal for two couples (though only one bathroom) or a family of 4. We loved it and will stay there again. If you haven't been to Assos you should go.

Access is always going to be an issue in Asos. Car parking and dropping off luggage was a small issue.

Quiet and comfortable place to stay. The place was actually better than the photographs on booking.com. Incredible views from the balcony. The people running and working here were very kind and pleasant.

The apartment was perfect.

It was perfect - spotlessly clean, amazing couple who own the place, super friendly. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows, great shower and the breakfast was the best! We had the top floor apartment, it was the best balcony, and the pool was perfect - overall, an amazing experience.

Kanakis Apartments are exceptional, excellent, friendly, helpful management and staff. The WOW factor is the stunning sea views (from every apartment) and the swimming pool. The beautiful breakfast is brought to your room at the time you request it and is well presented with plenty of choice. The room was tastefully decorated, spacious and light with good air conditioning and a powerful shower. The apartment is a 5 minute walk into Assos where there are a small selection of restaurants and shops. We would 100% recommend a stay at Kanakis.

Location with easy access to the village, and a great view of the coastline and castle. Flexible and varied breakfast was a hit as well as the pool. Helpful and knowledgeable staff provided advice of the local area and eateries.

Only advice for travellers to Assos is that there are only a few overpriced restaurants. We ended up cooking in the apartment and it was perfectly equiped for that!

AMAZING apartment! We had the apartment with entrance from the ground floor which gave us a spectacular view to the sea! Alla apartments have sea view, amazing breakfast served to the room every morning and access to the pool!

More cooking equipment would have been helpful as only one small pan to cook pasta in, plus some frying pans but I guess most people don’t bother to cook when there are so many good places to eat nearby. A minor point though, everything else was perfect!

We loved our stay, everywhere was beautifully decorated, the balcony views were amazing over the bay, great location in Assos with parking just up the road, the pool was lovely and swimming with those views was amazing. The owners were really kind and helpful with our luggage and offered us a welcome beer and lunch. The breakfasts were different every day with a selection of meats, cheese, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, and eating it on the balcony with the view was really special. Assos is a really small village with only a couple of tavernas, and the Three Monkeys bar up the road, but we had a really relaxing couple of days here during our road trip around Kefalonia and would definitely recommend these apartments.

The bed was very firm but this seems quite common in Greece.

The room we had was an excellent size with a small kitchenette and a raised bed. It was a junior suite and it had plenty of storage and a large bathroom. We had a small patio and balcony area which had the most stunning view over to Myrtos. Having breakfast brought to us on the balcony each morning was very special.
