AustraliaA bit grimy in Ios in some parts and lots of bars. On the other hand, two of our best dinners on our trip were in Ios too.
Ios resort was well located for our stay. The staff were attentive and very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome. Breakfast was prepared very nicely each day and provided a variety of tastes and delights on a single tray. Breakfast was served also with cake, tea, coffee and juice. Ios is a very small town but we really enjoyed the walk up to the three churches and the cathedral on the hill. We did so before breakfast to avoid the heat of the day and the strategy paid off. A real highlight of our short stay was a bus trip to Manganari beach, desribed as one of the best beaches in Greece. It was truly amazing, The beach bed/umbrella set was just 10 Euro and was serviced by one of the tavernas on the beach - truly a holiday standout. So much to see as you walk around the streets of Ios but my wife and I feel it is for a younger clientele as there are so many bars. However, well worth the two day stay and we would recommend it for a short stay.

Great food and drinks. The service was beyond expectations :-). We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

We loved our stay at Ios Resort, the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival not only were we greeted with a smile from staff but also from the owner Mike. We felt at home right away and our only regret was that we didn’t get to stay longer. We really appreciated the attention to detail. You can really tell that Mike and his staff live and breathe Ios and enjoy what they do. It was refreshing to see the owner of a resort present, it speaks volumes to the quality of service received and the type of people who we are supporting in staying here. It makes you want to stay forever! The pool and restaurant facilities were incredible with fantastic food and the pictures just don’t do this place justice. We will 100% be coming back. We also went to Traffic Bar (also owned by Mike) and it was hands down our favourite in Ios. We went there on both of our nights in Ios - 10/10 recommend. The Ios resort staff offered an extensive list of recommendations and helped to arrange taxi to the port on our departure. All we can say is thank you so much we had the best time ever xoxo

The property was absolutely beautiful- it had the nicest pool and overlooked the city. It was in the most perfect location, because it was a very short walk to town. The food and drinks were also amazing. The owner was so nice and helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable!! My group had the best time ever in Ios and highly recommend booking here!

CanadaGood location within 5 minute walking distance from bus stop, shopping and restaurants in downtown Chora. Katerina and Mike were very welcoming and offered numerous restaurant and transportation advice. Very clean and comfortable room. Modern and new facility. The shutters were great to block out any light, noise and heat. The pool was much a much appreciated feature. We were able to store our luggage for a late departure and they allowed us to use their pool, bathroom and restaurant facilities as well. As a bonus, Mike drove us to the port to enable us to catch our ferry. Wonderful stay.

Everything was even better than expected. The service was 5 stars! We were granted the posibility to check out late as we had a ferry in the evening. The room was comfortable and nicely decored and the location is priceless, specially to visit Kolitsani beach. Probably the best option you can find to stay in Ios!
