Poor internet connection throughout the island.

Hotel in a quiet part of the city, close to the beach and the center. Nice and comfortable room equipment. Excellent breakfast, especially a variety of homemade buns, cakes and pastries. Nice and helpful staff. We will definitely come back here.

Sophia produces a wonderful breakfast, so tasty and varies from day to day. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is very close to the beaches and restaurants. Parking is available on site.

It would have been helpful if beach equipment was available - chairs and umbrellas - even at a modest daily rental.

The Ilion was very comfortable and very well-located, both of which are my highest priorities as a traveller for many years. My goodness, there was even a small “kuzina” on our floor available to us with dishes, cutlery, glasses, and pots and pans to be used on the two element burner. Our hostess and the owner Sophia is a jewel who exemplifies Greek “philoxenia” or hospitality. The generous daily breakfast included in the price is delicious and an important way Greeks express this. Thank you, Sophia!

What a great little hotel! Sofia was the best hostess ever! She was so helpful and kind, and quite the awesome chef! A beautiful, clean, comfortable hotel right near the beach and many restaurants. The most amazing breakfast ever! Pretty sure we gained a few pounds here! We were in Greece for 23 nights with friends, and we all agreed that this was our favourite place!

The Wi-Fi in our room was poor.

This is a great family-run small hotel. Everything was great, some of the highlights include the nice bathroom, the spotlessly clean room, and the great location literally 10 meters from the beach. Ms. Sophia, the owner, was very helpful with everything we needed and she cooked the most delicious breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel, it is great value for money and I would certainly return if I went back to Naxos. A couple of extras which made our stay even more comfortable: beach umbrellas were available for the customers to take to the beach and parking space just outside the hotel was available which is quite convenient if you have a car.

No English spoken. This caused a few problems. Difficulty taking payment by card. No attempt to provide transport to port & request for taxi not understood.

Location is amazing. Walking distance from old town. Few steps from beach and restaurants. The room is huge and clean and balcony is the best part of the room. The lady in reception is super friendly and would make you feel at home. Breakfast is amazing and everything is homemade and delicious. Parking available and it’s much easier to walk everywhere instead of searching for a parking spot in old town which is almost impossible. Definitely recommend.

Wonderfully situated so close to the beach and facilities. Comfortable room and shower kept wonderfully clean by lovely staff. Excellent breakfast each morning with beautiful home made savoury and sweet dishes along with cereals, yoghurt and fruit, meat and cheeses, tea coffee and juices. The owner and her husband are lovely people always on hand to help.

This hotel was just a few metres from the beach. Very clean hotel, small kitchen located on each floor where you could get plates, glasses etc . Clean towels everyday. Good breakfast nothing was too much trouble for Sophia

The room and the bathroom were very comfortable, it was clean and the air conditioning was working really good. The host is a very nice and warm person and she has prepared amazing breakfast! I recommend Ilion hotel for everyone who is looking for real Greek hospitality!

Staff was very friendly, breakfast was amazing with most delicious cookies we have ever tasted. Rooms were cleaned spotless daily. Our room had a view on the beach, was really beautiful. They also have small kitchen which we didn’t use but convenient for someone who needs such facilities. Parking was outside of the hotel, never issues having a space. 2 minutes walk from the beach, and 10 minutes from the town centre. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants-no need to be even walking into the center.

Location was just the best. The beach is just steps away from the hotel which made it so easy to have a chilled out beach holiday. You can watch sunsets from this beach. It was very close to restaurants, amenities and shops. It was an easy walk into the main area of Chora. Sophia showed us wonderful hospitality. The breakfast buffet was amazing - delicious home-style cooking. We got the Seaview room which meant we could watch the sunset from our balcony. It was the best!

We were up 2 flights of stairs, but not an issue for us

The location is excellent: close to the beach, easy walk to nearby restaurants as well as the old town and port. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean. Whilst our room was on the small side it was really well designed so we were able to put things away easily. We also had a lovely, sunny balcony with a side view down to the beach. Whilst the hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk to the bustling town centre, the location of the hotel is quiet (great for sleeping. The breakfast provided is also excellent.
