Nothing special to mention, the staff was great and we were able to use the pools (the hotel has 2 great swimming pools) and take a shower even after we checked out from our room.

The staff was really nice, especially Elpita, who always greated us with a smile and offered excellent suggestions to help us make the best of our stay in Santorini. The hotel facilities were above our expectations and the location was fantastic, a 2-minute walk to Kamari beach. It was a quiet area, but with everything we needed really close by. The breakfast was also very good, with diverse options for different preferences and some food items were different each day.

Room only had black out curtains and given it looked out onto the pool it meant that you had to close them when you were in the room unless you were sitting on the balcony. Maybe a net curtain would help a little.

Hotel was over at Kamari Beach so when we landed in the Port we took a public bus into Fira where we got a second bus to Kamari Beach (€2 per trip). Hotel was right beside the Beach a short 600m walk from the bus terminus. It has two lovely pools. One an Infinity pool which our room looked out onto and the other out the front of the hotel. On arrival the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Although the rooms were not ready they treated us to a cold beer while we waited. The rooms were spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The shower was excellent with a tear drop shower head as well as a hand held one. The sun beds were cushioned and we didn't have any issue getting beds during our stay which in fairness was short. Breakfast was from 8-10:30 and buffet style but lovely with a little variety each day. Coffee machine with proper coffee pods was a lovely touch. Bathroom sink was in the room outside of the Bathroom which was actually very practical with a large mirror. Hotel was around the corner from the main Beach Front Strip.

If you are very sensitive for noise, there's unfortunately many bars and restaurants nearby that are noisy even at night, and closing windows doesn't always help

Great location. Close to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. Bus stop a few minutes walk and only cost €2 to Fira. Staff were so welcoming and helpful. Our room had a jacuzzi which was great. Everything was clean and as described and true to the photos online. If you’re looking for a dinner recommendation, Prince is worth a visit and only a few minutes walk.

The restaurant was closed for dinner but having so many options nearby it was not really a big deal.

The location was perfect, the facilities clean and confortable. The terrace in the room was a plus and the swimming pool (they had two, we only used one) was clean and a good size. The best was the staff always ready to help, kind and very helpful.

The location is perfect - very central making everything walkable, but also so quiet and relaxed offering a refuge from the busy streets outside. The breakfast was tasty with lots of different options daily. The room immaculate and the pool was just lovely. Highly recommend for those looking for a relaxed and not so touristy feel. The staff were very helpful with recommendations for around the island.

From the minute we arrived, the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The 2 pools were great and there were plenty of sunbeds available, either in the sun or shade. The hotel grounds and the room were spotless. The breakfast was great with lots of options for Cereal, cold meats, cheese and veggies, hot food options and yoghurts/fruit replenished often. An extra thank you to the young lady on the front desk in the evenings who was so helpful with tour advice and taking photos for us, so sorry I can't remember your name!

There was not one thing we did not like about this hotel, we loved every single thing!

Such a beautiful hotel and all of the staff exceeded expectations! Always willing to help! The breakfast was exceptional every single day! The rooms were absolutely beautiful! And the new infinity pool was our favourite place to lounge for the day! My daughter loved this so much could not fault at all thank you once again!

Great hotel in the center of Kamari, very close to the famous black sand beach. It offers two pools, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. We will visit Hippocampus again for sure.
