We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaHaving not stayed in a hotel in Athens for several years (the scourge of AirBnB), it was a nice discovery to find a decent, centrally-located place. On checking in, I could see my room had obviously been upgraded (to a top-floor terrace room), which was much appreciated. But it was very windy during my stay and I physically could not fully close the door on exiting the room. Luckily the lovely man at reception promptly helped with that and I knew that I had to be forceful henceforth! All the staff were very nice, with someone checking during (the very decent) breakfast how my (and other guests') stay was going. It was very comfortable and I would have no hesitation to book here again. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Excellent location, great size room, loved little roof top terrace and you could buy a drink downstairs to take up if you wish. Also use of nearby sister hotel (Plaka Hotel) roof terrace, which has own bar and restaurant with amazing views of the acropolis. Brilliant value for money.

United States of AmericaEven though I inspected and saw no evidence, I did come home with bedbugs bites. I cannot clear this place for sure.
The location is fantastic with nice facilities. The top terrace view of the Acropolis is ok, not great, but there is a seating area to relax with coffee perhaps. The reception gentleman was awake at best, not a very welcoming face. The room is nice. TV with very good choices of channels in several languages (including CNN, BBC, etc). Breakfast was included and very good. Variety of pillow sizes was a blessing as a flat pillow is rare in a hotel and it saved my sleep.

TurkeyThe corridor was very narrow, rooms too close to each other. Although we heart no noise from the outside street, it was very loud inside the hotel with opening/closing hotel doors of other customers. The toilet had a ventilation which starts automatically once you switch on the light. And it was very loud. It would be ideal if there were two different buttons, one for electricity, the other for ventilation. The toilet has a sliding door which is normal for saving space in the room, however it also made noise specially once you use the toilet durlng the night. Very disturbing for the other who sleep.
The location was very good. Easy to walk everywhere. Although in a very central location, it was very quiet outside. The staff was very pleasant. Specially the lady at the reception was very helpful. She managed early check-in for us and provided lots of information. We had a bottle of wine in the room which we enjoyed. The breakfast was good. We found everything we looked for. And the hotel had a baggage scale at the reception. It was very useful while checking out. I did not see this in other hotels, but very useful for not paying overweight in the airport.

CanadaThe front desk person upon check-in folded my passport's spine completely over; I did not appreciate this - a passport is an important document that, in the case of mine, needs to last 10 years. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not the best.
Good variety for breakfast. Room and location were perfect for our needs. There is a partial view of the acropolis from the rooftop terrace, which is nice (no bar or restaurant, just somewhere to sit).
