Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing! Everything was perfect.
My daughter's wedding reception was held at Mitsis. I stayed for 2 weeks in their executive suite and many wedding guests also stayed. Everyone at the hotel was exceptional and the wedding reception was faultless. An incredible hotel. I look forward to returning next year. Staff, food, service all wonderful.

United KingdomNo fault of the hotel - there was an Easter Valencia football camp with children of all ages - which is fine, and most of the time they were just kids being kids - but the Valencia staff looking after the children - especially the younger kids probably junior school age - should have been much more on the ball -excuse the pun! - when it came to bed time. The children were still running around corridors and slamming doors at 11-15pm - something they had been doing non stop for the previous 3 hours! The only excuse I could find for the Valencia staff was it was the night of the second leg of the Champions league semi final with Madrid playing. - Even so they should have been looking after the children.
This is a lovely hotel with great pools both indoor and out doors. The rooms are huge and well equipped, with a lovely balcony and a big bathroom. The food (we were 1/2 board) was lovely with excellent choices. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. This is a hotel I would definitely return to.

GreeceWe booked a sea view room and we stayed at a pool view, when we spoke to the manager he hung up the phone and never called us back. A glass broke at the room and we politely asked the cleaners (we tipped them 20 euro) to clean very thoroughly as we have a baby, when we went back we had to clean it again as we found a big glass on the carpet…
It is the best hotel in the area.

IsraelWalls between rooms were generally thin (not unusual in the EU).
Great location, view as promised, plenty of options in b-fast and dinner, across the road from the beach, spa and treatments were great, they spoiled us with welcome alcohol and the sort, staff was very welcoming friendly and generally amazing (!) including Anastasia from front desk with great recommendations for things to do in the area. Was still chilly for outside pool (not heated) so we did not try it. Had noise issues first night due to teenagers in the hallways and they owned it quickly (front desk moved us + manager spoke with us in the morning and compensated).

GreeceNothing in particular. The football field needs some rudimentary maintenance, perhaps some simple nets would really make a difference without any cost.
Parking ample. Internal pool in three parts: one with cokd water, one with iamatic water lukewarm and one smaller with hot water jacuzzi. The external one is the iamatic also. The big outside pool did not work in the winter, not a heating one. Massage therapy extra price normal prices quality treatment. Permission for grown up kids to enter the pool granted. Rooms spacious. Marvellous view to the pools and the sea but also to the mountain. Tennis court football field available free of charge convenient enough. Buffet for dinner majestic, has everything one needs. Breakfast marvellous. Spacious lobby areas

BulgariaIt’s a very big hotel with swimming pools and it seems very popular with tourists who enjoy the abundant buffet food. With so many visitors you have no privacy, especially on the balcony.
We chose the executive suite with a big bedroom and the same size of a living room and two bathrooms and balconies. We enjoyed the space and the food which is rich and abundant.

IsraelWe arrived during bad weather (storm and rain) and the outside pools were closed (which is understandable), but there were no alternatives for the children (the inner pool was for adults only) so there wasn't much we could do with them during our stay
The hotel rooms were very comfortable and clean. We received nice welcoming gifts. Breakfast and dinner had a very good selection of food, and a great atmosphere.

United KingdomThe hotel is a couple of hours from Athens and not so straightforward to get to. This can be off putting to tourists who want an easier time. To get there we booked a minibus tour from Athens via Delphi and Thermopylae (which we wanted to see and it was fantastic) and they stopped for us at the hotel to get off before they returned to Athens (easyexperiences.com). This was a fantastic day and great way to get there. Going back to Athens we got the bus which goes from an unmarked bus stop, just across the road from the hotel and cost 16 euros each. We asked the reception staff, who very kindly rang the bus company and reserved the return seats for us, which was a good job as the bus was full. I had rang the bus company lots of times from the UK before we left, though they never answered. I also contacted the hotel before our arrival about transfers and they did offer to book a taxi transfer which is about 200 euros. Though it would be great for visitors if the hotel could incorporate a transfer for visitors in the booking price, or provide a service to book the bus tickets or offer options to make it easier for visitors to get to and from the hotel.
The hotel was beautiful. Wonderfully located, nestled between the mountains and the sea. Our room was beautiful, nicely decorated and spacious with a large and comfortable bed. The rooms facilities were great. So clean and the maids were very thorough. A lovely welcome from all staff. All were very friendly and so lovely to chat to. The restaurants food was amazing. Tasty with lots of variety to choose from. The Steak Restaurant was absolutely superb. We had a fantastic meal. Lovely menu with wonderful choices. The food was so nicely presented and the staff were knowledgeable and helped us make our choices. The Pool was beautiful with lots of shallow areas for little ones or just toe dipping, with a life guard always on duty. The Spa was gorgeous and well worth a visit to soak in the thermal waters or treat yourself and indulge in a decadent treatment or two. The staff are friendly and look after your needs. Mostly we loved having a really lazy few days and just snoozing on the sun loungers on the beach, seeing the fish jumping in the sea and watching the world go by. The beach bar was fantastic with great music and lovely morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The staff were attentive and after ordering the same thing a few times they automatically topped us up. Thank you we love it!

SerbiaThe use of the sauna or steam bath cost 20 euros. I think that's an unnecessary cost. Anyways, I booked a steam bath and they turned it on when I got there so it was actually cold inside. I had to wait for 30 minutes to get some benefits of it, but I still had to stand under the steam. The bench in the sauna was cold all the time so I couldn't sit. It became very unconfortable, so I just came out. I was told I could use it later, but I just didn't feel like coming back in an hour again. Other than that, there is nothing to complain about. It was a moment to forget and enjoy the rest of the stay.
Honestly, this was probably the best hotel experience I've had. 1. The room was very spacious with a wonderful view on the pool and see. Don't listen to bad reviews. The furniture is 20+ years old, true, but in a very good condition, high quality and sparkling clean. 2. The food was heavenly. It's better than any restaurant you could imagine. It's unbelievable how tasty can food be. 3. The staff is incredible. Everybody is so helpful and cheerful. Everybody deserves a bonus, especially Giorgos who was very helpful and kind in the main restaraunt. 4. The hotel's assistant manager offered us a romantic dinner in the restaurant next to the hotel for free of charge! Sunset, cosy music and environment, sitting on the terrace of the restaurant, looking at the see and eating the best à la carte food in Greece (I'm subjective here, but honest). 5. There are some negative reviews stating that you need to pay 20 euros tu use the SPA. That's not true. The use of all pools, inside and out are included in the price of the room. The only additional charges are for different kind of treatments which is normal for every hotel. 6. The hotel has it's own private beach which is very long and never crowded. There are a couple of people in the sea every time and it's a very calming and relaxing experience. 7. The parking has lots of huge trees, so you can actually find a spot for your car to be protected from the sun all the time. 8. The pool has a very interesting shape with different canals which makes it interesting to actually do something in the water instead of just sitting there. 9. Get the all inclusive package! It includes drinks and snacks from the pool and beach bar. I never had the need to order a snack because the food was so good, but it's nice to not think about the cost of drinks when relaxing on a sunbed. 10. The nights are magical.

GreeceThe hotel was very crowded. Many people were crowding the pool, therefore, preventing us from finding a spot by the pool.
