Bathroom was very small to get in and out Beds were very stiff There was nobody there when I arrived and then guy came from being outside and then when I deposit the key for check out too

We had a great view of the port.. also next to the hotel one can find a supermarket 2 bakeries and some restaurants to eat.. great place friendly staff.

value for money a little more expensive than other accommodation we have stayed in over the last 5 weeks. Room small - basic - fridge beside the bed - no kettle to make a drink. but the view was great.

ideally positioned opposite ferry port. we had a front of property room - small, basic but a modern bathroom. lovely views of harbour.

The weather unfortunately was really bitterly cold and extremely windy for May. I would have preferred an automatic hot shower. That said I would happily stay again. There was a mix up as to whether my card had been pre charged however this wasn't a problem and was very well dealt with.

The Galaxy overlooks the picturesque port of Gavrio and is very close to restaurants, cafes and shops as you while away the time waiting for the next ferry, or if you arrive late on Andros. The beds are very comfortable.

The reception is not 24/7. I was lucky that restaurant next door is not yet closed when i arrive, so they can help me call the reception back. There was no reception when i check out either.

Just opposite to the port; excellent choice if you arrive late at night. Facilities a bit old (but with an elevator), but basic, clean, and everything (TV, AC, Hot bath) functioning well. It's quiet after the last ferry and before the first ferry of the day (which is exactly my sleep time). But if you plan to sleep till midday, then you may be awaken by the traffic downstairs. The small balcony facing the port is nice and breezy.

It's so close to the port I literally checked out when I heard the boat's horn. Right next to the buses, cafes, restaurants and supermarket.

It was basic, but it was cheap, so what can you expect! Someone was smoking in the room opposite, which wasn't pleasant to wake up to.

Location was brilliant. Right on the harbour and lovely to see boats come in and have a good view of the sea. Friendly staff.

The hotel and the rooms are rather old, but everything was working ok. Our balcony was on the back side, so there was no view, but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Nothing was disappointing or not expected, we chose this hotel deliberately, not for luxury, but for the location and the value for money.

The room is in a convenient location, at the port of Gavrio. From Gavrio, the popular beaches of Chrisi Ammos and Kypri are 5 minutes with the car, and the remote beach Zorkos is close. The room's value for money is great. The room is basic, but ιt's a good choice for a weekend escapade, when you want to spend your time exploring the island, and not staying in the room. Parking was on the public street and it as easy.

The property has great potential to improve by providing a kettle, tea & coffee making facilities. A bottle of water is a kind gesture like all the other Cyclades hotels I stayed in.

I loved the location. I had room number one & I had a magnificent view of the port from my balcony, overlooking all the ferries coming in… The hotel was only a 1 minute walk from the port when I arrived. The double bed was super comfortable . There is a fridge in the room & a few glasses. The Ktel bus station is right next to the port, including taxi services. There are bars, restaurants, coffee shops, a pharmacy in close walking distance. A supermarket called Masoutis where you can find super cheap goodies. Altogether I would say it’s one of the cheapest islands.

Balcony was very small and faced a street despite the photos all showing the sea however I had not requested a sea view so partly my fault - no room for a table to sit out , only one chair provided in a triple room however the owner was very helpful and retrieved another one for us. No crockery or cutlery however owner again was helpful and got some for us. Taps in bathroom were very loose and toilet door didnt close well - minor points and probably easy to resolve

Very handy if you arrive by ferry as it i s close to the port. Air con was lovely and cool and very efficient. Shower was good and warm though had to remember to turn on the fusebox switch to heat it
