We were warmly welcomed in & out but felt invisible whilst there. Could be great if staff thought a little more about their guests - we had to ask for room service & the restaurant was initially closed.

Giorgios himself picked me up at the ferry very early in the morning, and similarly took me to the ferry very early in the morning when I had to leave. He also offered a better room for the same price. He was very attentive and kind. Really appreciated his hospitality.

There was a steep uphill road to go to the main village, so it was difficult by foot but if you have a car or a motorbike no problem

- Big balcony. However, there was no privacy because the balcony was facing the entrance/exit stairs of the upper floor rooms - Price was a bit too expensive compare to other more modern accommodation

we had a lovely stay. The location is stunning - just steps away from a beautiful (and currently deserted) beach - 5 minutes (fairly steep)walk from the village with tavernas, cafes, shops. The staff were very kind and hospitable - always checking if all was ok and happy to pick us up and drop off to the port. Our room was comfortable and clean, lots of hot water and a nice balcony. Sitting on our balcony all we could hear was birds - sooo peacefulKettle and air conditioning n the room were welcome! It was early season so the hotel was being prepared for summer - so there was a little work still going on and the hotel restaurant is due to open very soon although breakfast is available - none of that was a problem at all for us (nothing noisy or inconvenient happening to be clear). Overall a great stay and a beautiful location. Thank you 😊.

Air conditioning and Wi-Fi Not working very well. It was a bit pricy but maybe this depends on the high demand in the island

Owners were not very accomodating, difficult to give us some first tips upon arrival because the reception remained closed from 16:30-19:30! Cleaning ladies had to be told every day to come & what to do and did not leave any bath amenities or toilet paper.

Lovely location overlooking the beach but only a short walk up the hill to the main town (think village!). The resort has a restaurant (taverna) that serves breakfast and lunch. Everything was clean and tidy albeit a little dated.

Very smoky when bathroom window (which opened to the common corridor) was left open to clear steam. Dirty ashtray left on the balcony table. Restaurant facilities very poor, three staff to attend to eight diners. One cooked but wasn’t a chef, one waited on tables and the boos took orders and served drinks. Meals were requested at 1935 and arrived between 2110 and 2125. Starter arrived at 2145. We ordered a shell fish dish, and the owner came back 30 mins later and said sorry no shellfish left but I can offer you a small fish dish. When fish dish arrived at 2110 it was a very big fish (1.3kg). He said not to worry it was a good fish. When we came to pay the bill the fish dish cost €78! He didn’t tell us this when he brought the fish to the table. If he had done, we wouldn’t have agreed to have the fish, we would have chosen something else. He admitted that he hadn’t told us this and agreed to drop the price to €59. I was fed up arguing with him so just paid. Initially in early May 2022 when we booked the property for one night, the hotel charged my credit card 50% of the room cost. Booking.com advertised that there was free cancellation up to a certain date in August. I cancelled around a week later in May and immediately rebooked for two nights, and was charged a further 50% from my credit card for the two nights. When I pointed this out at the hotel, they said that it was ok booking.com would refund me. I’m not sure that it is up to booking.com to do this as the deposits were taken by the hotel. I will be writing to booking.com asking how I can be reimbursed for the initial deposit. We will NOT be staying there again and will let all our friends know what happened to us.

We liked everything.

Yana, Giorgio and the rest of the team were really friendly and helpful. The room was perfect and our balcony was huge. The restaurant was brilliant and we were cooked a beautiful fish dinner. The location is perfect, right on the beach with only a short walk to the chora & we were often given a lift anyway.

We can think of nothing we did not like but we coped easily with the steep walk up and down but some people may not .We are both in our mid sixties.

We enjoyed our room with a sea view, It was magnificent. The balcony was large and spacious..The location was a short walk up a fairly steep hill to the main street with bars restaurants and shops. The beach was accessed by some steps down. It was long and sandy with shade and clear water. It was not crowded.. The staff were friendly kind and helpful..We can find no fault to mention during our stay.. We were collected from the ferry the day we arrived and given a lift back to the ferry at the end of our stay.

Nothing, wished we stayed longer (next time……..).

The location was great, right on Tsigouri beach, but only about a 5 minute walk to Chora. The room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and lovely shower (full shower enclosure), also a large terrace overlooking the bay. The staff were all very professional and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us. Jioavva was a lovely host. It was excellent value for money.

If you want to go to the main village there is a big dirt road uphill that you have to use .

Right next to the property there is a super nice beach with clean waters and a view.

Amazing view over the beach, perfectly situated to start a walk around this small and beautiful island. Grispo is a relaxed host with lots of information, maps and experiences at hand.
