Room is a bit outdated, no facilities (sauna, hot tub, etc).

A “family-owned” style hotel. The staff are lovely & friendly. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. If you want a good location hotel, and away from the crowds, don’t think twice!

The hill walking up from the beach is very steep so if you have issues walking then this is not the hotel for you

Staff were excellent could not do enough for us. We had my 90 year old mother in law with us and they were so good with her. I would highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

The staff of this Hotel is fantastic. In all my travels, I have never experienced such a consistent attitude of friendliness, assistance, and warmth. It was incredibly heartfelt. The breakfast buffet is delicious. The food is fresh, made from natural ingredients, and has a large variety. The rooms are spotless, the view is fantastic. The location is quiet and relaxing. This location has excellent access to a nearby beach, grocery stores, cafes, and transportation.

The breakfast wasn’t great as food sometimes tasted stale, although nice to have lots of local Greek pastries. Also the machine black coffee is not nice. Each morning I had to pay extra for a proper coffee from the bar which really for a 4* hotel should be included (minor point but makes a difference to feeling like a valued customer).

The whole hotel is clean and nicely designed. A premium balcony room became available and we were upgraded, really nice surprise from the staff. The pool area is great and food/ drink service to the poolside is nice touch.

Firstly, the room was great, nice bathroom, great to have a balcony also! Breakfast selection was good. My wife doesn't eat beef or pork, so maybe more chicken/veg options would have been appreciated at breakfast. But the best thing about this hotel are the teams that work there! Nothing was too much, and they went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The team at Mykonos Essence hotel was nothing less of exceptional and would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is great too, we rented a motorbike and was easy to park, and get around the island. All in all a great holiday!!

The stay here in Mykonos was amazing. The breakfast was amazing, such a good choice of options. The pool area was spotless, the staff couldn't do more for you. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious with a good shower and balcony. There were even showers and facilities for if you had a late flight on check out day. Amazing place.

Wifi is really slow…

Everything is amazing! The staff, the room was spacious, had a super comfy bed, with a spectacular ocean view; breakfast has heaps of variety and delicious. One thing I personally really love is how they take care of the stray cats there, that really speaks character of the hotel - to look after the animals in need, for me that’s an extra bonus point for the stay.

Everything - it’s got a really relaxed feeling and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. There’s a really good on-site restaurant but not enough guests seemed to eat in - which is their loss. Lovely pool too.

It was set on a pretty steep hill that the bus doesn’t go up to so on long days, the hill was a bit much to climb. Breakfast variety doesn’t really change but other than that the stay was amazing

It was away from the bustle of the beach but still a good walking distance to it. Lots of food around, super clean, staff were so welcoming and helpful through the whole stay

From the moment the booking was confirmed, till the moment I left the appartement the service was excellent and employees arranged all that I needed to have an amazing stay! They arranged transportation and rental-service very quick and with great service. 24/7 available to ask questions or information. Last minute extra night to stay? Arranged in 5 minutes!! Speechless, keep up the good work!

Very welcoming, helpful and polite staff! The cleaner was also very good and forgot to tip her! I would have loved to thank her. I know that some people have commented about the food always being the same, but there are plenty of options to choose from. I would definitely recommend Mykonos Essence!
