It is not really hotel’s job but more frequent public transport between the hotel/mastichari and city center would be very useful for the tourists. Renting a car would be a better option than relying on public transport.

The sunbed situation was terrible, the pool was clean but the pool area was dirty with rubbish left from previous days. The entertainment during the day was poor. The resort was isolated but we knew that when it was booked.

The staff on the reception were efficient and pleasant. Most of the bar staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was good in general. Our room was well equipped and clean. Although the resort was busy, it never appeared too crowded.

The swimming pool fight about sunbeds is truly nightmare. It should not be allowed to book any sunbeds before opening time and left items should be immediately removed

As its name, it is like a village. The buildings are nice, it is very green with palm, olive, orange trees. The hotel has its own access to the beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas are free of charge. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel is located on the beach, the hotel has a private beach, the staff was remarkably kind and helpful, there isn’t much to do in the area but it’s a small island and there are many things to do near and everything is a max 30 min drive, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, there is a huge pool and many activities that the hotel provides during the night and day. We really enjoyed are stay and highly recommend!!

The check out. I was held for 20-30 mins without an explanation as to why it I was held up. The staff said it was logistics, and when I asked for further clarification, they would not give me their time of the day. One staff member lastly said that they were checking payment even though I paid upfront via booking.com. Another staff member was checking our room to see I assume, to see if we took something. I don't mind all these checks if only I was notified about it. I even asked if they are checking the room to see if that was the reason for the delay. The manager came out and didn't even acknowledge the situation. This only happened to our check out. Once one member received a call, we could go and still not stating the reason for the delay. One member said the system had crashed but continued checking in and checking out other customers. Did not enjoy the check out process

I rented a quad bike and that gave me a chest infection and i also have mild asthma. However, the next Island Kalaymos has a massive area where they burn garbage, including plastics which release toxic fumes. https://www.vice.com/en/article/pavezm/theres-an-illegal-trash-volcano-burning-in-greece And I've been told there is also a chemical factory nearby. I noticed many people coughing in the hotel. I ended up in hospital with sever breathing difficulties. At the hospital, i saw a UK mom with her six month old who was on oxygen due to breathing issues too. She said all her family had been sick and baby was struggling to breath and this only happened since they Kos. When I returned, I'd I was in the fresh air, I would start to cough uncontrollably and coughed all night. I had to seal myself in my room to avoid coughing my guts out and gasping for breath. In the end, I was so desperate I took a flight back to the UK. I don't think everyone will be affected as badly as me, but I think the authorities need to look at that toxic pit and also the chemical factory affecting air quality. Greece has also been fined many times for breach of air quality due to burning of rubbish

we stayed only two nights but during this time no housekeeping came to our room and the towels were not changed. We recognized this situation when we arrived at our room about midnight and the whole day we were out. So ı am not sure if this is a regular implementation of the hotel or if that was an extraordinary situation. Except for this, everything was alright.

Check-in hour is mentioned as 14:00 but when we were in hotel, they mentioned that its 15:00. We have waited aroumd 30 minutes and afterwards they’ve arranged our room. Cleaning staff not enough. Rooms are not cleaned unless you ask them to do. Water was salty.

Our room was a dumpy - not what I was expecting for a resort. Beds were not comfortable. Buffet breakfast and dinner were sub-par. It was not possible to get sunbeds by the pool and we were charged for ones on the beach. Area is not the best in Kos - would recommend going to Karadema instead of Mastichari.

Our room was on the sea - nice front patio to sit in the evening. Pool was very large and nice. Lobby is very large and nice to sit in to access the wifi.

The cleaning lady didn’t change the towels a couple of times even though she was in our rooms. Rooms were nice, but a little bit old and not so clean. Breakfast selection was good, but the glasses and plates were not always clean.

location was good - just acros the street you have a supermarket and a nice lady who rents all kinds of different transport so you can go around the island.
