Beautiful charming property with a wonderful host. 10 minutes walk from busy Oia, it was a pleasure to return to the quiet relaxing garden and use the plunge jacuzzi after a busy day in the town. The location Finikia, is an old village with cave house dwellings and 3 fantastic authentic restaurants, we preferred to eat here than Oia. Would love to return one day and will definitely recommend

Elia's Cave is perfectly situated in Finikia, a charming village just a 20-minute walk from Oia, making it easily accessible without the inconvenience of finding parking. Additionally, there is a spacious public parking area just a 5-minute walk away, where we always found parking without any difficulty. The apartment was clean and comfortable, featuring a jacuzzi on a large private balcony overlooking the sea, which made our stay enjoyable and relaxing. Communication with our host was excellent. We highly recommend this apartment in Finikia for exploring the beauty of Santorini!

Staying in Finika in a cave house was idyllic.1968 cave house and its settings were perfect. There are two fabulous restaurants 2 minutes away. The garden and hot tub were fantastic in the cave house garden was great. Room and facilities amazing

The location was close to Oia. It was also very easy to take the bus in to Fira. The locality was a quaint town quiet but not isolated from the hustle bustle

It’d be even better if there’s an oven or something similar to heat some food.

Equipment Wise: I and my partner were stunned by how spacious and beautiful the interior is, the minute we entered the house. Everything from the tasteful furniture and the unique house shape was spot on and perfect. There was a jacuzzi with warm water outside of the house along with a garden, not big but enough for a hot summer day. There’s a dehumidifier in the house, with its help the house was kept dry and cool, we didn’t even need the air conditioning when it was scorching hot outside. Location Wise: 10 mins walk to Oia, which is perfect for those who don’t like to stay in the busy touristy area like us, but can still walk to the beautiful sunset and back easily. There is a free parking lot within 1 minute walk, and a nice mini market within 30 seconds walk, which is very nice. Greek Hospitality: The host Katherine was super helpful. I made a huge mistake by leaving my passport and international driver’s license in the room and left Santorini for another island by boat. As soon as I ask Katherine for help, she found my passport, rushed to post office downtown Fira and ask for the possibility to mail my documents so that I could get my passport and take the flight back to Asia in time. She even refused when I ask to pay back the express expense. Honestly I can never return a favour like this. What more can you possibly ask for a host?

We loved everything

This place is exceptional, everything about it is perfect. Katerina was so helpful and answering questions before the stay and throughout the trip. It’s even better than the pictures! The location is perfect. The area is so beautiful, with amazing restaurants and it’s lovely and quiet to thoroughly enjoy the huuuuge balcony and plunge pool. Katerina changed the temperature as per my request before arriving and constantly checked everything was okay. The first night she booked us a restaurant after arriving late which was just perfect in every way! The walk to Oia is very short and easy - we went everyday - I would stay here again and will in a heartbeat. The accommodation is very spacious, and lovely and cool due to the cave house style. The balcony is perfect, we had breakfast there daily and used to plunge pool mornings and afternoons - and enjoyed a drink watching the sunset which you can see from the balcony also! I honestly cannot fault this place, and highly recommend it to anyone! Katerina clearly cares for the place and for her guests thank you!!!

It’s located slightly outside of the busyness of Oia, local shop on your doorstep, beautiful restaurant on your doorstep. Room is very clean, serviced everyday. Beautiful plunge pool. Owner very polite and efficient.

Nothing it was great

Everything, it’s quiet away from the hustle bustle of Oia yet is only a short walk away. The village is adorable and the restaurants are steps away and excellent. The owner is so lovely and can’t do enough to help. Such a nice nice visit. We stayed in the rooftop room with private terrace and spa pool and it was just perfect. The view is perfection.

What a fantastic stay from start to finish. The location was perfect, 10 minutes walk out of Oia, close enough to head out and enjoy the views and perfectly placed to step back and find some peace and calm. The cave house is in a quaint village called Finikia. It’s charming with three restaurants (all fabulous) and a great little supermarket. The island buses run just outside the village so there’s plenty of options to explore. The accommodation was fabulous, cool, comfy, equipped with the all important coffee machine and plenty of pods! The host Katarina is totally amazing. She organised our transfers, trips, restaurant bookings (her brothers sunset restaurant is lovely) and even went out of her way to find me an anniversary card and cake. We were made to feel like family, especially touched when she organised for a surprise anniversary dessert for us on our last night. it was really hard to say goodbye! This accommodation is totally fantastic, don’t hesitate…book it!

This is in a really pretty area of Santorini that is a short 10 minute walk to the busy Oia. Really liked that is wasn’t as busy, there are some lovely restaurants really close by as well. The owner of this hotel is so nice, she arranged all our transfers and was waiting for us at the bus stop. The rooms themselves are done out to a very high standard, we loved staying in a little cave house. We had our own private terrace and hot tub that made it feel extra special. Will definitely return

No complaints!

Staff were wonderful - met us at the transfer drop-off, gave overview of the attractions, were overall very sweet. Location was nice, in a small village about 5-10 min walk from Oia, but some really good restaurants closeby. Very cute garden and plunge pool - nice to soak in after the Fira to Oia hike! Room was very big, lots of room for the 3 of us. The "cave" was a very cool atmosphere - one of the coolest spots we stayed in Greece.
