El Greco is a family owned hotel good enough for the night transit in Igoumenitsa. Location is easy to reach.

Tiny bathrooms and smallest shower. Tight and slow elevator/lift. A bit on grotty side.

Location - near ferries and nice boardwalk cafes/tavernas. Parking on main strip. Management served us coffee earlier than advertised - we had a ferry to catch.

The bathroom very very small , shower very very old (impossible take it being inside The shower plattform…, no sockets in The room.. tv off and at The arrival also the fridge was off.

That has to be the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. Had no pillow case and the mattress was thin as a topper, extremely uncomfortable.

It is a budget hotel, so I set my expectations accordingly - it was absolutely fine for my purposes.

The inclusive breakfast was ideal, with fried eggs and toast, plus drinks. The room, although basic, contained all that one could need for a short stay. The location adjacent to the promenade is really convenient for walking to the many nearby restaurants. This place is relatively low-cost and represents great value for money.

Booking should check the way some people advertise their property! There was no internet in the room ( there was a signal in the hallway in front of the room. They do not take cards for payment even advert says they do!! They take cash only! There was no Tv in the room( there was, but in its original box unpacked). I am sorry, I am not fussy, but have just stated the facts.

The location is perfec. They did help with the parking the motorbike safely. It looks like they are in the middle of renovation and hope they finish it soon. Breakfast is good.

Not keen on the 10€ charge for a cat, why? I'd expect the room to be thoroughly cleaned anyway. I bagged up all the rubbish and swept the floor before I left. However breakfast was included which I hadn't realised so it's fair in the end.

I didn’t like the stuff from reception they was very rude and they made me to book another room extra and I ready paid for one room they told me if you don’t book another room you can go and not refundable for your booking from booking.com i need refund back for my booking otherwise I will call my bank and despite this.

The breakfast was basic but if you are not looking for anything special, it will serve the purpose of a deluxe continental breakfast. I enjoyed waking up every morning to different coffee options and something small to eat.

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay at El Greco. We reserved two junior suites which have been recently renovated and they were perfect for us. The photos of these renovated rooms are correct and they have done an excellent job with all new and modern features and furniture. We had requested side by side rooms and they gave us two side by side on the fourth floor, overlooking the sea and main promenade. The hotel location is perfect for walking and eating at the many restaurants and bars along the main road. The hotel is run by a local family and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. There was onsite free parking which was great. The overall hotel needs updating but it was very clean walking into the lobby and in the breakfast hall, and you spend all your time in your room when you are at the hotel anyways.
