Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThere is not enough sunshade at the privat beach or at least they are not big enough. With a small child sometimes a bit annoying. Especially the pool for babies/toddlers didn’t have any shadow at all so we really couldn’t use it.
We were upgraded to the pine suite. That suite provides a privat pool - amazing especially for our toddler. It made our staying even better. The garden suite we needed to go for one day wasn’t so practical. Really spacious and modern, but also pretty dark and loud. For people without a toddler maybe perfect because it’s really close to the bar. The breakfast was well selected, the food in the restaurant pretty good with a modern twist and the fine dinging experience is great. Nice creative cuisine - worth a try. The privat beach was clean and several sun lounger were provided. The hotel is like a small tropical garden, very beautiful. Anyway you feel welcomed as a family with a small toddler there. They have a nice playground for all kind of ages.

BulgariaNestled amidst the lush greenery of a pine forest, with its private sandy beach and crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea just steps away, Ekies All Senses Resort truly feels like a hidden paradise. The peaceful and serene atmosphere is a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone went out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They were always ready with a smile and willing to assist with any request or question I had. Accommodations at Ekies All Senses Resort are nothing short of luxurious. Ourroom was tastefully decorated, spacious, and immaculately clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the culinary experience at the resort. The restaurant served a variety of delectable dishes, ranging from traditional Greek cuisine to international delights. The ingredients were fresh and locally sourced, resulting in incredibly flavorful meals. Each meal was a feast for the senses, and the attentive staff made dining a memorable experience. The resort's pool and water sports facilities also provided hours of family-friendly entertainment. In conclusion, I must say: this was a memorable vacation. We will definitely visit again. :)

United KingdomTravelling as a couple, the only thing that was an issue for us at Ekies were the kids! We knew before we went that it was a resort for all ages, and expected to see kids having a fun holiday, which is of course not a problem at all, and is nice to see. The challenge for us was more around many of the parents' lack of manners in understanding that other people are sharing the resort as well. We loved the look of the resort restaurant and couldn't wait to eat there in the evening, having enjoyed a delicious lunch upon arrival. However, when eating dinner and trying to enjoy some wine, kids from various families who were all playing together kept jumping all over us and the seats we were sitting on. They were then grabbing the table lamps from nearby tables and were using them to play fight with each other. They were constantly screaming, crying and crashing in to things in the restaurant, with the parents all sitting back and letting them get on with it. It was like eating in a creche and was not enjoyable at all. The restaurant isn't cheap, and it ruined it for us. My husband very nicely asked the nearby parents if they might stop their kids from jumping all over us while we were eating, but nothing changed. The kids were then also building forts and hitting each other with the large cushions from the beach right next to our table. We fully expected this in the day time. However, we purposefully went to the restaurant to eat a little later (after 9:30pm), thinking it would be a bit calmer from all the kids, but it wasn't. On this basis, we ate the rest of our meals out in the village. It was also impossible to enjoy the swimming pool. It was always completely taken over by kids. The Ekies seems really brilliantly set up for families. For couples, it has all the ingredients of being perfect, but can't quite deliver on the experience.
- The setting of the resort is sensational. I loved the greenery and foliage. - The resort is really nicely thought out, and the restaurant leading on to the beach is beautiful. We ate from the taverna menu twice: once for lunch and once for dinner. The food is sensational, and I was particularly happy with the veggie/vegan options. Great choice and quality. The veggie tacos were incredible! - My husband and I both had treatments in the spa. After our complimentary foot massages, I had a manicure and pedicure, and my husband had a holistic massage. All of our treatments were really excellent, and the people in the spa were lovely. - The watersports hut on the beach had loads of bookable activities. We hired a boat from them for half a day and had the best morning of our trip exploring the Blue Lagoon and nearby beaches. - There is a lovely walk from the resort over to Karydi Beach and the 'Rocks on the Beach' lookout. We walked over there just before sunset and the views over to Mount Athos were stunning. - It's a very easy walk up to a selection of tavernas and a couple of supermarkets. We had a few great meals in these tavernas watching the sunset. - I'd love to give a particular shout out to the reception team. I called up a day before my original booking to see if we could stay for an extra night and the lovely person on reception was really helpful and kind. She was an absolute delight to speak to from start to finish. Thank-you! - We stayed in a junior suite and it was a lovely, bright room with a balcony overlooking some beautiful trees and flowers. For our final night in the resort, we were given an upgrade to a Pine Suite which had a private pool. Wow, we really loved that room! I have never got changed and into a pool so quickly! What a sensational way to end our lovely trip. Beds were really comfy in both rooms and I slept well.

Switzerland- The hotel was quite busy with families and children, which occasionally increased noise levels, though this was more season dependent rather than hotel dependent. - Sometimes, due to some of our table locations in the restaurant, it took a bit longer to get the staff's attention. - The shower had a tendency to splash water out, causing us to use and replace towels daily because we used them to mop the floor and they did not dry, which wasn't ideal from an environmental perspective.
- The comprehensive breakfast spread provided by the hotel was an enjoyable kickstart to the day, full of delightful variety. - The hotel's location next to the beach was simply perfect, offering us a blend of serene relaxation and fun-filled beach activities. - Our culinary experiences were consistently enriched by the high-quality food offered across the hotel. - The calm and peaceful ambiance of the hotel was soothing, creating an atmosphere of tranquility amidst our exciting adventures. - We thoroughly enjoyed the soothing and professional services of the hotel spa, a rejuvenating haven after a day of exploration. - The hotel's thoughtful provision of umbrellas for guests choosing to explore different beaches added a layer of convenience to our outings. - Additionally, the boat rental service was a highlight, providing us with the opportunity to explore the surrounding waters at our own pace, and adding a unique dimension to our beachfront vacation

TurkeyVery very nice experience. It is almost impossible to find such a high standard hotel in this region. I'm not saying other places are bad. In general, it is an area with average hotels. There are many, many cozy/clean/hospitable places in them, but Ekies is another level. The restaurant Bubo is a place with a very high taste standard. The sea is beautiful. The bar has delicious cocktails. The service team is very friendly. nature is incredible.
