Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TurkeyActually the pool was not so good as it was not deep enough and sometimes not clean enough. As we were usually using the sea for swimming and not the pool it was not an issue for us but for people who use the pool it is important. There were also no towels of the hotel for the pool area . We dont know why .
We loved the hotel in general. The room was nice . The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good.We loved the 70s concept of the hotel .

The room was very comfortable and the customer service was excellent. Pool and the restaurants were worth to try. We also liked the breakfast!

United KingdomThe lift, it is very old an crammed, but was in perfect working order just felt claustrophobic for me.
We only stayed here for one night as we like to move around and we had a villa. The grounds in the hotel are beautiful lots of greenery and flowers, the gardens are well maintained. So many pretty flowers in the reception area and around the pool area which make good photo backdrops. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was nice, plenty of choice however I know we would get sick of it had we been staying any longer. The hotel itself is very clean and you can tell it’s an old building but it’s been well maintained and even though you can tell it’s a old building it adds to the charm. I found it very art deco.

United KingdomThe staff at the hotel are amazing. We had a last minute change to Dionysos Hotel as our booked hotel was a real let down. Despite arriving at midnight and unbooked, the reception staff and managers were really helpful booking us in and supporting us while we tried to figure out things with the previous hotel. A real credit to the hotel, thank you.

NorwayThe food at breakfast was not the best, there were things I liked but also some that lacked taste, including the juices which were very artificial. The rule about no strollers in the elevator was weird and we never got an explanation why this was so.
Spacious rooms, great surrounding in serene nature, huge pool and great variety of dishes in the restaurants with affordable prices. It was clean and the beds were comfortable and the staff helpful and nice.

United KingdomNothing - the bathrooms could do with a bit of updating but the rooms were cleaned every day to a good standard.
Location was fantastic, nice little 40 min stroll to Rhodes town. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and for the beach lovers among you, it’s literally at the end of the road. Pools looked lovely and the area was lovely and clean

NetherlandsNot much. I like the place.
I liked the pool / garden area a lot, as well as the bar and reception area. A lot of space, green, modern but also cozy. The pool is also very playful with all the curves, bridges, rounds etc. The sitting around the pools was also not massive but still quite private. So perfect.

United KingdomNice pool and gardens but you are not allowed to move the sunbeds. You have to be packed in like sardines. Wish you could move beds to quieter areas. Air conditioning just about ok. Very weak. Old building and system. If you like your room very cold dont stay here. Only a short trip into Rhodes but the buses are very busy. The stops near the hotel are near the end of the line. When buses are full they go past you. We had 3 buses pass us 1 day. Its not ideal on any day or night. Pot luck. You might be lucky and get on a bus straight away. Even if you reach the coast road and turn right you still can find the buses do not stop.
Nice pool. Breakfast ok but not amazing. We had a nice room and balcony. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Short bus ride to Rhodes Old Town (but see comments below). We did not eat in the hotel. We did not see any of the hotel entertainment. so cant comment. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Would we stay there again??? Maybe but not sure. I think it is a lot of money for what you get. Depends on other hotels and prices at the time of booking.

United KingdomSurroundings of hotel don’t have a lot going on - busy road Spent a lot of money with the hotel and they had a couple of unhelpful and petty rules - which took away from our enjoyment of the holiday. For example, you are not allowed to take your buggy to your room, the options are you can leave it outside which we weren’t keen on as there were a lot of cats, or to leave it in the luggage store. The luggage store was a long way from our room so this does not make it easy for parents with a sleeping child - or with a lot of belongings. Just seems like an unnecessary rule as the floors are tiled and cleaned everyday. Another example of a petty rule is that we were told we weren’t allowed to open our suitcases in yhr reception area to put our swimwear in when we were checking out. All we wanted to do was put our belongings away before leaving the hotel. We’d chosen a quiet corner out of the way to open our cases for 2 mins and were told off. Just doesn’t make any sense.
Lovely hotel, older decor, nice environment Large pool Good breakfast and food and drinks generally Mostly relaxed atmosphere Had a fantastic holiday

CanadaSunbeds old and very uncomfortable. There should be a pool for adults only, as the pool is packed with children, and their pool toys, and there's plenty of space for the hotel to allow for an adults only section. Also, the pool closes too early. Adults should be able to stay past 7pm. At least till 8 or 830 in summer. Didn't like that we can't use all the available hotel tables except if we order from the restaurant infront of the tables. Should be able to order from any of rhe restos and sit on any of the tables around the pool, as we're hotel guests.
The landscaping on the hotel grounds was spectacular.. The BEST part was the Massage i got at the spa. Eleni is the best masseuse ive had in a very long time. Wow. Despina too. Do not miss out on a massage from them. Breakfast is great. Staff is very helpful.

United KingdomEntertainment a bit basic I don t like the salty lagoon pool as I like to do laps but perfect for kids and to have diner in the evening Very narrow pavement to walk to the beach and when entering the hotel because of taxi and coaches need to arrive before 9 at breakfast to avoid queue and closes at 10 so cannot sleep late Mosquitoes are plenty in the gardens at night old elevators
The staff is amazing always ready to help and advised us for restaurant.... Reception team is so nice and smiley, always a a pleasure to deal with them. They can order also the taxis 12.5 to Rhodes town We had the 2 studios in the building away from reception so calm and really spacious rooms with a hob to cook and cutlery, worth taking the studios ! AC worked perfectly for us. The hotel is really sparkly clean and with flowers and nice furniture. Garden are so pretty Tennis table and mini golf Short walk to the beach Mini market at the entrance has lots of useful items and open until late at night. Breakfast is ok, fruit and warm foods, omelette cereals, cheese....
