Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. The quiet location was amazing directly at a beach and the hospitality of the ladies who run it is just wonderful. Cosy garden for breakfast and well equipped kitchen to cook a simple meal. The hammock invites for naps. Loved that's it's away from any hustle bustle but still easy to get around by bus to other beaches or towns..or of course rent a vehicle. This place easily feels homey.

AustraliaThere wasn’t much natural light in the room, but it was fine as we didn’t spend much time there, I would have loved a second pillow as I just feel more comfortable with two, but it wasn’t a deal breaker.
The most wonderful staff!! We were really looked after at Dioni Lux, every day our beds were made and rubbish was taken out, they even took care of our washing for us which made our stay soo wonderful, it’s a little bit of a drive to the closest town to have a meal as we didn’t have a kitchen but it was in a very quiet part of the island with some beautiful beaches nearby. Wifi was good as was the price!!

FranceActually, we rented a room without kitchen, but we knew it so next time we will definitely book a room with kitchen and a view, which we visited and are definitely breathtaking. The "lux" total. Thank you again Rula and the whole family for showing us the other studios that you propose...
We loved the site, the location and most of all, the warm welcoming of Rula, she is very kind and always ready to help you with a smile. There's a set of nice treats for breakfast (coffee, tea, toasts, etc which is delightful) and a special treat (delicious) for my partner's birthday. All the team is really kind: you feel at home there with Rula and the whole family. The garden is so nice and peaceful. We really loved it. Also, you can also walk to Pachena beach, which is really nice. Event though we loved visiting other beaches and sites, havinga the beach at 2 minute walk is really great. Also, the beautiful town of Pollonia is very close; only 5 minute drive if you have a car. It is very easy to park at Dioni Lux, too. That is also great. In fact, the place is really a jewel and we will definitely come back when we come back in Milos. Thank you so much again, Rula! And thanks to all the team.
