The elvevator reminded me of some horror movie :)) HOWEVER, you can take the stair which is healthier and less threatening !

The location is just amazing. I loved the sea-view, the bar which was located under the hotel, the restaurants and everything around Danos Hotel. I'd love to go back (do I get a discount after my recommendation ;) ? )

The beds were very uncomfortable and the rooms were basic. No love really applied to. Make it feel special as a holiday home.

The location was perfect and it had a parking area nearby which was useful. The staff were friendly.

Music was a bit naff and seemed to be continuously looped. I must have heard "Its a wonderful world 30 times in 5 days!"

Lovely hotel..room was really nice and cleaned daily. Staff attentive and a nice breakfast (extra charge)...right in the beach with a special offer of free sunbeds and parasol. Many locals in the bar area which added to the "Real Greek" experience. Good value for money.

I keep coming back to this place for its great location, cleanliness, laid-back atmosphere, comfortable beds, sea view rooms overlooking the clean, attended beach right on the doorstep, non-intrusive and easy-going management and staff, café with Charma beer on tap and dakos:) Hands down the best value for money hotel in Nea Chora area with some of the best seafood tavernas in town along a tidy and rather quiet pedestrian promenade, a small fishing harbour and marina. See you next year!

The WiFi was weak. The air condition was noisy.

The room was clean. The beach in front of the hotel was nice. The parking lot was convenient. We walked from the hotel along the Waterfront to the Old Town.

Nothing really we booked the cheapest room and it was ample for our requirements, but maybe a kettle in the room would be a good idea.

I can't really give a full review of the hotel because we only booked a one nights stay. Due to the fact that we had a late night flight and the hotel we stayed in couldn't let us keep our room on as it was fully booked. However, we went and explained to the receptionist at Danaos the day before that we had booked a room but would only be staying for 9 hours. She told us that check-in was 2 p.m., but if the room was ready, we could have it straight away, which it was. We were very grateful that we could have the room from 11 am. , I can. However, give a full review of the hotel bar where we spent many fantastic evenings. The bar staff were excellent, so friendly, and always greeted us with a welcoming smile. We would definitely recommend the Danaos Hotel, but we would pay more for a bigger room with a sea view if available because from what we could see, the hotel is very popular with many returning guests.

It is a nice and cosy hotel, the location is perfect, directly to the beach and approx. 15 min. walk to the city center. The room with balcony was very comfortable, everything was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful.

No dislikes whatsoever.

Great value for money right on the NeaHora beach and only a short walk to Chania itself. Beach towels on loan help you to travel light. Danaos also arranges taxis to the airport at a competitive price - smart vehicles and bang on time. This was our first stay - we will be back! The bar looking straight over the beach is a great place to people watch.
