Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsA real breakfast is not served at this property as they don't have a restaurant. Instead we got Greek yoghurt with some fruits on request. An improvement would be if they added a picknick-style breakfast with some stuff from a local bakery for example. Other than that absolutely no dislikes. Everything was amazing to be honest.
The property is beautifully designed (as on the artist impressions!) and located on a hill with picture perfect views. The views you wake up to could come straight out of a magazine. With only 6 rooms, this boutique hotel gives you a very intimate feeling. The rooms 1 and 6 are a bit bigger than the others and have a bit bigger swim-up area. Just a few minutes walking from the lovely restaurants and bars of Plaka. A special shout out to Alexandra, the woman who manages the property on her own (when the owners are not there). She was so kind and helpful and was always offering her help in case we needed something. With a smile she woke us up every morning with some Greek yoghurt and fresh fruits. Would we come back or recommend this? DEFINITELY!

United StatesSuper steep hill driving up to the property, but the views from your room make up for it. Also, wish they included breakfast since it's a more luxurious property would have been a nice touch! We got the room on the far end, which has more privacy for the pool area, but could see how the other rooms would feel a little exposed or simply less private since all the pools connect.
We loved our stay at D3! The views are unmatched!! Our room was on the far end, which looked to be the best in terms of privacy and view - try to request that one if you can! Everything was super clean, stylish design and comfortable! Our time spent by the pool taking in the views was lovely. A wonderful spot to end our long anniversary trip!

United StatesThe pool is connected across all of the rooms so it offers privacy but if you venture to the edge you can see other rooms. This wasn’t a problem for us though, having the pool completely enclosed would have felt claustrophobic. There is also a skylight in the room that was right above the bed for us - I sleep with a sleep mask so it wasn’t an issue but it did let light in with the sun.
It was truly a magical hotel - the owners met us with sparkling water and cake for my husband’s birthday. The rooms were gorgeous and the view was unparalleled. Being underground also kept it cool AND there was central air. It was a short 5 minute walk to central Plaka with all of the lovely restaurants and shops. It is a beautiful place on a beautiful island. We were very lucky to find this hotel before it gets extremely popular as I have no doubt it will.

PortugalFor the price we paid, we were very disappointed with our stay. First, paying 477€/night for a room that only had hot water between 12 pm and 7 pm is unacceptable. I had cramps during the stay and got food poisoning -- you can imagine the discomfort of having to take a cold shower on your holidays AND when you're sick. Second, the photos are misleading. While it seems that it's an infinity pool with lots of privacy, it's actually a shared (the other rooms are next door) small pool with dusty ground right in front. You have indeed a beautiful view ahead, but it doesn't create the wow effect that it seems through the photos. Third, while the staff did their best, the service was slow. For example, toward the end of the trip, my partner fell and I asked for a first aid kit. Not only they took 3 hours to reply to an emergency, but they also didn't deliver the kit, so I had to go to the pharmacy. Other details such as having an iron, but not an iron board. No kettle for tea and hot water. I understand this is a new place, but there's still a lot to improve for the prices practiced. This place has potential and I hope this feedback helps the team offer a better service to the next guests.
The location is great, close to plaka where you can find restaurants and cafes. The room is modern and beautifully designed, but the walls are not well insulated so you can easily hear outside noises.
