Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomLocation was out of main area quite a busy road outside so walking into Agia Anna can be a bit precarious no pavements and not much street lighting. A small gym would have been welcome
Beautiful rooms. Well equipped with full size fridge and kettle provided

United KingdomLiked pretty much everything. If I was forced to mention something that could change I would say more shaded areas around the pool would be welcomed.
Room spotlessly clean, friendly staff, breakfast excellent with Elizabeth’s great home cooking. Something different every day and plenty of choice. Good size pool. Nice location close to beach and tavernas but not too close so very quiet.

Quiet location but only 5 minutes walk from Agia Anna beach, restaurants and facilities. Well maintained and clean hotel. Lovely swimming pool. Wonderful, welcoming and friendly staff - Paris and her team score top marks for customer service! Special mention for the delicious breakfasts with home made specialities and the pro-active efforts to accommodate our request for gluten and dairy free options. We would highly recommend Cycladic Islands Hotel and Spa.

AustraliaThe room decor was excellent but my husband kept hitting his head on the lovely low hanging wood light. Just needs to be raised. The bathroom can only fit one person at a time but was perfectly clean and manageable.
The location is abslutely tops! Just a short walk to a fabulous beach which is ringed by umbrella and beds and a variety of restaurants. So convenient. No crowds. Sandiest beach we found in all the islands. The room was lovely overlooking from above the terrific pool. The staff were so helpful, thankyou Paris. Short ride to the town which had wonderful shops, sightseeing and restaurants.

My family and I recently stayed at the Cycladic Islands Hotel & Spa in Naxos, Greece, and it was unforgettable. From our warm welcome to impeccable service, Paris, the wonderful manager, ensured our stay was perfect. The hotel's design blends traditional Cycladic architecture with modern luxury. Our spacious room had breathtaking views from the private balcony, ideal for unwinding. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh local produce, homemade pastries, and Greek specialties prepared with care by Elsa. The spa facilities were exceptional, leaving my wife and daughter feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The outdoor pool area was serene and comfortable. The location is ideal, with easy access to beautiful beaches and the main town of Naxos. Exploring the island was a joy, and returning to the hotel's tranquility was always a pleasure. We can't wait to return! PLEASE NOTE: We extended out stay at to 5 nights

The property was attractive, spotlessly clean and well managed. The staff were so helpful especially Paris, the receptionist, who went out of her way to help us. Staff like Paris make hotels memorable and special places. We also loved the breakfasts, the homemade Naxian delicacies were delicious and the cook was so friendly and happy to explain each dish. Will thoroughly recommend.

IrelandThis hotel truly exceeded our expectations and turned out to be a hidden gem! The best part was the amazing breakfast made by Elsa every morning. She was genuinely friendly and her food was delicious, varied and local. She added a personal touch that made our stay truly special. The hotel room and common areas were nicely designed and always clean. The staff took care of our room while we were having breakfast, which was really convenient. We loved spending time at the pool, and the fact that it stayed open until 9 pm. The views from our balcony and the dining/pool area were great. The nearby Agia Anna beach was fantastic. The sand was soft, the water clear, and there were comfy sunbeds and nice cafes. We went in late September - the weather was perfect for the beach and all local venues (restaurants, cafes, and shops) were still open for business, but the area wasn't crowded. Our stay at this hotel was like a dream. Everyone was so friendly, the place was beautiful, and it was in a great location. We'd love to go back one day!

IrelandWe really had to think hard to find any fault with this property. Only one thing came to mind the chef is wonderful and friendly but she is a little judge if you don’t finish everything on your plate which was a little awkward. But she was very nice and welcoming.
We had a wonderful check in with the reception staff. We had a welcome shot from a local producer. Our room was as lovely and spacious and as e had a welcome basket with wine due to it being our engagement trip. The pool is lovely and relaxed. It is a stroll the the beach area and ideal for anyone who wants to be in the centre but not in the Main Street.

JerseyAt first I thought ‘oh no it’s on a main road’ but then walking to the beach is only 5 mins down a gentle hill. Walking back is quite dark so may not suit young families or people that can’t walk very far.
This is a beautiful hotel extremely clean and even though it’s on a road it is very quiet and the pool area is private. The pop id beautiful. A different, fresh breakfast is served everyday, home cooked with local produce and amazing cakes. The local beach is only a 5 min walk and it’s stunning. Beautiful beach bars, tavernas and sun loungers with a large stretch of beach both to the left and right. It’s very chill vibes and you can walk in either direction or hire a quad bike or car to explore the areas. There is also a bus stop to the town by the beach and outside hotel and the local boat tours go from the beach. The staff are very helpful and friendly to tell you a loud local places to visit. This is perfect location and we stayed on an extra night and I could have stayed longer.
