Whilst we love the public areas of the hotel, the bedrooms need a makeover as the decor is very dated, particularly the fixtures and fittings in the bathroom which for a longer stay of more than a few days may become ‘more noticeable’.

A classic hotel in the best location in Corfu Town with spectacular sea views and views of the fortress. Within walking distance of the Old Town with an array of shops, tavernas and restaurants. Great swimming pool area and lovely breakfasts. Added bonus is its proximity to the airport.

Small things - no tea and coffee in the room, inadequate plumbing (obviously old and no doubt just part of the ‘Greek experience’!).

Good location with views across the bay and easy access to Old Town. Super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast and dinner excellent. Lovely pool area and loved the saltwater pool.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The location is excellent. A short walk into the old town and the hotel has a wonderful view of the bay. The swimming pool is clean and has sea water in it. The garden surrounding the pool is beautfiul and well cared for and there is plenty of shade. The supply of towels for sun loungers is kept full and there is a staff member who regularly patrols the loungers to straighten those that are no longer in use, remove old towels and generally keep everything looking tidy. There is a lovely bar in the garden, with plenty of shade, where you can have drinks, snacks or even a meal. There is a table tennis table and a floor based chess board. The staff are amazingly courteous, attentive and deliver excellent service. The staff spoke good english to me, I don't know how many other languages they speak. The staff couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The quality of the food is very good. We always had plenty of choice of things to eat at breakfast and the 2 dinners we had at the hotel were of excellent quality. The A/C was kept on in our bedroom, despite taking the key card out and the electricity cutting out, which was lovely so that when we did return to our room, it was lovely and cool. There were plenty of good quality bathroom accessories and the room and bathroom was cleaned very well each day. We would definitely return to this delightful hotel.

There is no parking. And do take that in consideration if you are renting a car, coz it is very difficult in general to find parking in the city.

Well maintained, old school hotel. So it’s a vibe, and I enjoyed it personally. You can tell that the stuff at the hotel is very experienced and professional. It is close to the city main square so good location for a city hotel for sure.

The room was a little bit 'tired' and could do with a makeover. The wardrobes seemed very cheap and the bathroom suite was very old. Our toilet did not flush very well. Noise transmission between floors can be a little annoying.

Location was good, just a short walk into the town. Great view overlooking the sea from our balcony. The room was a reasonable size and air conditioned. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty to choose from. The staff were all very, very good. The seawater swimming pool was great and the complimentary towels for use around the pool is a great touch. The hotel was very clean and the room cleaners did an exceptional job.

All info published on the hotel web site out of date or wrong (eg room descriptions). Tablet in room has no value, lot of pages do not exist (page error), contain info and prices from the previous years so not relevant anymore, cushion menu is empty. After check-inn, you receive an email with a free spa offer but this is from last year. Hotel manager is even not really interested and makes it more your than his problem. When my room was available, reception staff detected that they gave my room key to another guest so I had to wait again. Also this mistake was described as ‘the other guest took the wrong key’ and it was certainly not a reception staff problem. Wooden radio box in room is from centuries ago and not working anymore, not sure why it is still there. Prices wine list (outside bar) are outdated, 36 Euro becomes 38 Euro when you receive bill (after reporting this, I immediately received 2 Euro in cash (?)).

Very nice location to visit Corfu town. Restaurant staff very helpful. Facilities a little bit outdated but hotel has a nice ‘vibe’.

The bathroom whilst large and with good facilities needs an update. We received a note saying we should not use the minibar to keep our own drinks cold, but no alternative was provided.

Our 6th floor room was spacious with amazing views from the large balcony over Corfu Town and the bay. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom and good dressing room. Very clean. The hotel pool and bar were lovely in beautiful gardens. Delicious and varied breakfast and the drinks at the bar were good and not expensive. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Corfu Town.

The hotel has a sea view, however there is no beach. You can use the swimming pool area. The design of the hotel is old fashioned. It looks like they havent upgraded anything for years, however it is clean and cosy, but the price is too high.

Location is great for people who want to walk around the old town. Nice stuff, very good breakfast, cosy pool area.

Hotel is in a lovely position looking out to the sea ; my room had a balcony which made it doubly pleasing. The Staff were very helpful & friendly. The Verandah Restaurant area was wonderful & the food of a very high standard. Beautiful swimming pool & surrounds.
