Out of all the hotels I have stayed at in my life, I think this is my favourite. Peaceful and quiet in the otherwise bustling old town with a level of charm and friendliness I have not encountered before. The location: It's perfectly situated for essentially everything in Rhodes: you're 2 mins walk away from the centre of the Old Town, the Ferry Port, the Sightseeing buses, the public bus, and various pick up/drop off services that can be booked. Yet with all these so close by, I found it one of the most peaceful areas of the Old Town altogether. The hotel: The hotel is so quaint and full of all the warm Greek hospitality you would get from staying with friends. The courtyard has sun, shade and a cool breeze running through it. Perfect place to have the bountiful and great value breakfast buffet. George, Alexia and all the staff are so welcoming and accommodating. There's a real personal touch about everything and you couldn't ask for more for this price. The room: I stayed in the single room. I was slightly nervous before coming as pictures were scarce you'll see on other platforms some VERY old reviews that don't speak highly of the single room but from the looks/sounds of it these are well outdated and shouldn't be paid attention to. I LOVED the room. All of the storage solutions were so clever to really maximise your floor space. The air con was excellent and much needed. The exposed stone work made it feel like you really were staying in a part of the old town's history. The bathroom was clean and well kept with a really good powerful shower. I didn't expect a mini fridge but it was a welcome surprise and I saved a lot of money by grabbing snacks and drinks to store in here. The lock box is very secure also. The only thing missing is a kettle but in this heat who needs it. The bed was exactly my kind of mattress so it was perfect for me.

Incredible hotel with the most amazing owner and staff. Felt a part of Greek family for the week - amazing location in old town and staff went above and beyond to ensure a great stay - brought my friend an Apple Watch charger from their home after realising we forgot ours in London. Breakfast is very fresh and well priced and the orange juice is amazing! Very quiet also had no noise pollution from other guests or outside city. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!!

Cava D'Oro was absolutely PERFECT! My biggest compliment is to the staff, Alexia and George, as they were SO kind and helpful! They helped me to book a car, plan my trips around the island, and were so so so kind and friendly! I always felt like I was returning home each day after my adventures and exploration around Rhodes. I loved the location and the hotel is so beautiful, easy to find, and really just perfect. I could have stayed there forever and cannot wait to go back!!!

Everything! From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed with kindness and care. The hotel was even better than the photos and was meticulously clean! I had the best sleep I have had in weeks on the very comfortable bed. The lighting was beautiful and the attention to detail and little extras perfect. George and his family should be congratulated on such a wonderful hotel and incredibly, generous hospitality! PS The breakfast was awesome too!!

Beautiful setting in the Old Town …….. the boundary walls of the property are the historical walls of the city built thousands of years ago ! Our host were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back.

I've been here before and had to come back. It's such a great place. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are all different and quirky but all are comfortable and well appointed, and breakfast in the shady courtyard is the perfect way to start the day!

The breakfast was just right. The location was superb, and Alecia and hee husband were very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a slight problem was the fact that the bed had a kind of wooden shelf going right round it - this made it quite difficult for me to get on and off, since I have weak knees.

A perfect and quiet location situated just inside the walls of the old town . An old building with history , but sensitively renovated to accommodate 12 rooms with outdoor relaxing terraces . From the moment of arrival the hotel interior looks beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable with very modern shower units set into the old city walls - perfect! But it is the welcome offered by Georgios and Alexia and the ideas and concern to make your holiday a success which worked so well for me . Everyday I had some new guidance in answer to my requests e.g. for vegetarian restaurants . Everything was perfect ! The hotel is SO conveniently placed for everything . Housekeeping is excellent ( fresh linen , towels and yes, shower curtain and bath mat changed EVERY day .) A most relaxing but super efficiently run hotel .

Awkward for us that we couldn’t leave our suitcases for long, but may be due to family difficulties.

Well situated from the port - easy to wheel suitcases. Very short walk to Old town. Lovely outdoor space right next to the old wall. Generous size and well equipped room. Comfy bed. Quirky design in the room, which would not be for everyone. But amused us! Friendly staff.

Breakfast, which was served in a lovely courtyard alongside the historic town walls, was really good and included a great selection of home made jams and preserves. Our Cave Room was full of character with comfortable bed and cute seating area outside our door. A further highlight was the kindness of the family/staff that ran this delightful hotel.

Room a little dark but that’s nature if the building.

Location good for access to old town of Rhodes. On edge of town so not quite so claustrophobic as other accommodation. Very nice reception and dining areas all outside. Very good breakfast.
