Not recommended for people who don’t like to walk and go up stairs as it is in the upper part of the old town. Parking is not that close. But we loved it maybe also for this!

Everything was amazing

Amazing hotel, friendly staff, exceptional location (right in the downtown). The staff was very caring and responsive. The breakfast was delicious, the room was very clean. There was a wonderful view onto the old town of Nafplio. It's about 4-5 minutes on foot to Nafplio bus station, so it was super comfortable to reach the hotel with the baggage and then back to Athens. The bookshelf with books makes the hotel even more attractive.

Great location on the hillside just above old town Nafplio, a minute away from the main pedestrian streets. Had a view of the sea and the rooftops of the town. Friendly staff who provided good recommendations. The town itself is wonderful—there were free concerts, it felt so relaxing to be in this town after Athens. Make sure you do the coastal walk to Arvanitias Beach and swim there!

You just have to take into consideration that you have to climb by stairs from the street and free parking places are like 5 walk from the property.

In the center of the town, close to all main attractions. Air conditioner was strong — it is a main thing when it is 40 C outside. I had also a window view to the old town. The room was small, but for solo traveller it is ok. The resection people were very friendly and helpful.

Balcony chairs and table were dirty. We cleaned them in 2 min with lots of wet wipes but that should not have been necessary.

Location is good, very central. Room and bathroom were clean. 4 comfortable beds. Helpful stuff.

The location is excellent and the staff were courteous and helpful. The included breakfast was wonderful and it was nice to eat on the lovely terrace each morning. Our rooms were comfortable and very clean.

Nothing! The stairs didn’t bother me nor did the Church bells every hour.

The bed was rather hard, although we find this is common in Greece. The breakfast could have more variety, but it is convenient to walk to other cafes nearby to get variety.

The Byron Hotel has the best location! It is a quiet area at the top of the town with a great view, yet still an easy walk to everything we want to do. There is a charming breakfast terrace.

Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. It was difficult to regulate the temperature of the water in the shower. Sometimes scalding hot or very cold. Also there was a sign asking us to leave towels on the floor if we wanted them changed. We were happy not to have fresh towels everyday (for environmental reasons and to help the hotel cut down on laundry) so we hung them up. But we received fresh towels every day anyway.

We liked the decor and that everything we needed was there. Lovely views. Very clean.

The bed was not soo comfortable, but it was fine! Not really something to complain about.

The location was perfect, the service and breakfast were really great, such nice people! Having breakfast in the terrace was nice, and breakfast was more than enough. It's location is central, walking distance from all the main places!

It was perfect for me but people who have difficulty climbing stairs might find the stairs up to the hotel difficult and the hotel has no lift.

The location of the hotel was perfect for walking to locations in Nafplion and for parking the car in the free car park near the beach. Driving in and out of Nafplion was also eased by being able to park in that location. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. The view from the balcony over the harbour was a delight as was having breakfast outside by the dome of a former hamam.
