Music was constantly played around the pool area, sometimes from guest speakers as well as the hotel speakers. It didn't always feel restful. Our room felt tired, which was surprising as I had booked a superior room with sea view. These are supposedly newly renovated. We also had been given a suite of 2 rooms. The air con worked in the sitting area but was not very powerful in the bedroom. It wasn't until check-out, when I queried what room we'd been given that they said they'd given me an upgrade to a suite. It would have been nice to have been told this at check- in, because I think I would have chosen the superior room, as booked.

The view from our room was just wonderful. A great place to sit and watch the sunset. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and left beautiful 'towel-art' on our bed each day. We arrived late evening on our first night and to compensate for missing dinner, we were given a token to use for lunch one day. The pool was clean and refreshing and not too busy. We liked how the hotel was right next to the beach. This side of the island gets most of the sea breeze but to be honest, it was very welcome. The food was amazing and offered lots of choice. We especially enjoyed the 'Asian' night. Wonderful stir-fries, salads and sushi!

Good location for beach (great for windsurfing) but not near anything of interest. Overall very decent hotel but nothing special- except staff who were genuinely friendly and helpful.

The property is a bit dated and in need of some updating but still well maintained. The sun loungers were a bit run down. Limited vegetarian options too but that’s standard for hotels really. The lock on my door was clearly recently replaced (there was a gap around it covered in duct tape), and I did have someone let themselves into my room while showering which as a solo traveler was unwelcome.

Lovely grounds and kept super clean. The buffet food was good, but was truly exceptional when they had Greek food, which I really wish they had more often. Staff were very helpful and I really loved the family vibe they had with some staff bringing their children to the pool on Sunday. They have loads of transfers to the main attractions at very reasonable Prices and the beach is lovely. There’s lots of restaurants and shops nearby too. You are in the airport flight path but so is every other hotel on the west side near the city if you want to stay in this location and it’s only ever for a few moments.

The hotel is on the landing route of planes. Rooms facing the street are noisy. Air conditioning starts on June 1st. Deckchairs on the beach cost 4 euros extra.

Poor sound insulation. My balcony was right above the karaoke which started too late for my liking in the evenings. Far from the Rhodes town and bus stop 10 mins walk from the Hotel. Buses don't come in time. The beach on that side of island is rocky.

Clean room and nice refurbished bathroom. Lots of choice for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. Quiet area at least at the end of the season.

I was at this hotel in August 2020 and the food was way better. I didn't like the food this time around. The entertainment wasn't that good. The all-inclusive alcohol selection was bad. Not enough places around the pool therefore we had to pay an extra 4 euros the day for the private beach. Also there was a lot of smoking going on around the swimming pool.

I like that the hotel and rooms are clean. The staff is very friendly and professional. The swimming pool area is very clean. The private beach area is very nice.

All inclusive choice is worth for drinks. For AI food not, it is better choosing half or full board and paying alacarte during the day, if needed. Regular meals tastes good. A bit too windy balcony on the edge of the building (2nd floor), esecially missed having clips for drying wet clothes and beach towels.

Animators were mediocre. Beach has constant waves due to position. The exterior is outdated, and it needs to be a little bit restored. The bath booth was leaking. Noise from disco and planes at night was irritating.

Very clean and tidy bungalow with own entrance. Cleaning was exceptional. Beds were super comfy. Alongside the beach, it was a fine windsurfing rent, which I used unexpectedly a few times. Also, there was a convenient pool with depths from 0.8 to 1.4 m. Food for both breakfast and dinner was exceptional.

Blue Horizon is a great place to relax and enjoy the blue sea. We had a mix of windy days and sunny days. In the windy days the waves were too big and we couldn't swim in the sea. We enjoyed the pool. The food was very good. If you tip the waiters, they will treat you better. If you don't tip, they may ignore you :) Our room was a bungalow in the garden, so not a great view. The rooms with the best view are the ones in the main building or on the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely amazing hotel staff who were helpful in every situation (if it was even a little bit possible). Nice location, daily housekeeping, car rental right at the hotel, great food selection for breakfast and dinner.If you are intolerant to gluten, lactose, etc. there are plenty of alternatives to choose from and you can personally consult directly with the chef who will recommend "safe" dishes. There is also an allergen card for each dish. From the bungalow you were almost immediately on the beach.

One waitress in restaurant was very impolite And almost shouted us in one evening because we asked him to change out wine to another (he denied and forced us to drink the wine he brought to us).

I would appreciate to have a coffee maker at the room as many hotel in Rhodes do (for example Nespresso machine). No laundry dryer. We had to hang our colthes on chairs in the garden after washing. Also we had two beda instead of one large bed which was problematic for a couple as we were falling between them when sleeping together.

This guy named 'Willy' at the Blue Horizon, a superstar of a guy in person whom attended with any questions we have had whether it was his job or not in plain words. Thanks a million Willy! The reception team and the restaurant staff are outstanding there. The food and the service was excellent. Also the morning chef Antonis Papantoniou was exceptional in person and as a chef. The ladies at the restaurant (sorry cannot remember names) are great. The lady at the beach bar, such a sweet person and always smiling! Thank you all for making our holiday a memorable guys!

The problem is self-inflicted noise: the garden-like courtyard area could be cozy, but everything is ruined by the hour-by-hour music playing in the pool area, which gets on your nerves and ruins your vacation. Can't everyone listen to music with their own headphones if they want to? In addition, the aircraft noise is loud at times. Planes land frequently at certain times early in the morning and late in the evening. For this reason, you cannot keep the balcony door open while sleeping. The neighbor's smoking on the balcony also disturbs. Sound insulation between the room and the corridor is poor. Without music our rating is 8 now 7.

The hotel has all the conditions to be really good. The view from the rooms to the sea is wonderful, the beds are good (though the pillow was quite hard), the food is good and the staff is friendly, especially the cleaners and waiters are excellent and hardworking. There are plenty of hobby opportunities and, for example, massage services. The beach bar is surprisingly cheap, but the sunbeds on the beach cost €4.
