Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

This was such an incredible trip and our hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the room was getting cleaned daily and was spotless and the breakfast options were unreal. I would highly recommend and will be staying again when visiting Andros!

BelgiumThe temperature of the swimming pool was rather cold, but it was only the beginning of the summer season. The quality and the variety of the breakfast offering was rather average, especially compared to the delicious dinner.
Breathtaking sea view, very tasty food and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. Every time we sat down at the pool we were given a clean towel and a glass of water. The nearby Aneroussa Delavoyas beach with the beach bar was also very pleasant. The sea was calm and very clear. Nicely decorated room with good airconditioning and daily cleaning service.

This hotel is in an absolutely beautiful location- the views are stunning. The rooms with a sea view are amazing! The pool is also lovely and the hot tubs are very relaxing. The walk into town is ok and only takes about 15 mins - walking back at night is ok as the path is light up the whole way - it’s definitely worth going into the town for dinner and to have a look around. The staff are all very friendly and happy to help.

United StatesThe views are breathtaking. You can see them by the pool and outside your room consistently. The accommodations were exceptional. The staff was very helpful with any and all questions that we had. We went into town and had some family visit. They were happy to help us gather tables together in the evening to do so.

GreeceEverything was great! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in any occasion. They even provided us with towels for the pool and any request/question was answered in the best possible way. Amazing view and pool. Breakfast near the pool whilst viewing the sea was an awesome experience of calm. Great food quality and choices for both the breakfast and the food offered by the restaurant at the pool. Quiet room and comfortable beds. The balcony had a nice view and while there were not many mosquitoes the installed nets protected the rooms from any insect. Very clean and nice design of furniture and lighting. We're definitely coming back next time we visit Andros!

The hotel is in a lovely location with beautiful well kept surroundings and tasty buffet breakfast. The owners are very helpful and made our stay comfortable by helping with a quick and cheap car rental, preparing lunch at the hotel and having given us excellent food recommendations on the island.

Staff wonderful and views to die for particularly if you get rooms 7 or 8. It’s a 20 minute walk into Batsi with its lovely bay. Went at middle of October so very quiet- maybe a couple of weeks earlier would have been better.

United KingdomBeautiful location, walking distance from Batsi town for dinner but right on the most beautiful secluded little beach. Breakfast was lovely (eggs, bacon, cereals, breads, ham, cheeses, cakes, Greek cheese/spinach pies). Cocktails at the bar were great, pools and rooms were spotless, literally faultless experience.

United KingdomWe visited in Sep and the pool was too cold for adults to swim in - kids went in anyway!
The location of this resort is wonderful! Walking distance to a Sandy beach in a little cove with a beach bar. The sea is waist height for a long distance out so was not a big hazard for my children. The water was so clear - bring a snorkel! Breakfast was fresh and had good variety of hot food and fruits, cereals and cakes. Great barista coffee machine - but extra charge for this. All of the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It had a very personal feel around the hotel because of their attention to detail and happy personalities. Batsi is walking distance (20min) and has lots of bars and restaurants.

The Blue Bay Village in Batsi, Andros is the nicest place we’ve stayed in what has been 7 holidays to Greece over 15 years. The location and view is superb, as is the warm welcome and service from owner George and his lovely family and staff. We enjoyed the tranquility of the location, the chilled evening vibe around the bar and pool, the breakfasts and high standard of food and the fact that whatever question we had - George had the answer. From the Blue Bay it’s a 15-20 minute walk into Batsi along a road with sea views all the way - perfect for photos. There are several beaches nearby, two are 5 minutes from the Blue Bay. If you wanted to spend your time in the pool, that’s one of the best you’ll find too. Batsi is a perfect place to stay - big enough to have a lot of places to eat and drink but small enough not to attract huge crowds or cruise ships. They are found in nearby Mykonos which is a 2.5 hour ferry trip. Another great thing about Andros is the trails. The island has a number of very well signposted hikes that really let you get the feel of the place and in October hosts a walking festival. We loved the Blue Bay and feel sure we’ll be back.

United KingdomVery cold water in the swimming pool. Access to a hot tub would have enhanced the visit.
The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The staff were attentive and always willing to help. It was nice to be brought a glass of ice water each time we went to the pool. Georges was particularly helpful when sorting out electrical socket conversion issues and hiring a local car as was the young man also assisting in the hotel, whose name I have forgotten .

United KingdomThe room was supposed to have an iron but didn't, and although I was able to get one from reception they were unable to provide an ironing board and suggested I use the bed. The wifi was slow at best and frequently dropped out so got through a lot of my own data.
Our room was spacious, clean, modern, air-conditioned and the bed was a great size and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were also spacious and modern. The location was great with beautiful views of the Aegean. There was a small private beach with beach bar 2 minutes walk from the hotel. It's a 15 minute walk to Batsi town along a quiet and well-lit road which felt safe to walk at night. The pool and restaurant area was clean, tidy and had a nice relaxed vibe. Breakfast had a range of hot and cold food which were all really tasty. The restaurant food was delicious with great choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and shout out to Christos who made us feel very welcome. The bar was also really nice with a chilled vibe and especially enjoyed the watermelon mojitos!
