Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe booked the presidential suite and thought it didn’t live up to the standard as we had the smallest pool and the room wasn’t as modern as on the photos. I think if I was going to go again I wouldn’t pay that much money for a presidential suite as it didn’t feel any different to the other rooms.
The location was great for us. We thought the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

United KingdomWe went all inclusive which is worth it for the drinks, however, the only downside was the food. We didn’t eat at the buffet offered, but did go to the rooftop terrace for a meal, which was made to seem “exclusive” as they only offer three tables per night. The menu was not explained, we found out after that it was trying to be a tapas/sharing ordeal. The food that was ordered seemed to be the exact same food from the buffet (but colder), no extra plates were offered to dish the food from, tiny portions and overall a very poor quality of food, which is a pity considering the atmosphere and overall aesthetic of the rooftop terrace is incredible. There are some lovely restaurants just across the road and down onto the beach which I recommend over the food at the Belmare.
Overall a lovely stay!! Staff are super friendly and kind, especially Anna-Maria and the daytime pool bartender (sadly didn’t catch her name), both made our stay even more special! There was a slight mix up with rooms upon arrival but was sorted out right away with no issues. Our pool room was so perfect, clean, and the best way to spend a relaxing holiday (although the bed was quite hard). We

Latvia1. A lot of ants. They are absolutely everywhere and no one cleaning them. They are on your private terrace, in the room, in the bathroom. Everywhere. 2. Choices of the food is very limited. The lunch menu is nearly uneatable. 3. No water. At all. If you wanna drink water - you need to buy it yourself. 4. They have rooftop bar which you can book 1 day in advance. No. You cannot. It is fully booked. Even if you are trying to book it at 7am for the next day. 5. The reception woman is unreasonably rude. On most of the questions or help we received a no. Even the few occasions she said yes, later that day she would say actually no.
Private pool was incredible. Bar staff and cleaning ladies are incredible and friendly. Breakfasts are quite tasty.

United KingdomThe curtains in the bedroom were very thin and didn’t block any light out. If you’re a light sleeper and sensitive to the light you need an eye mask. The all inclusive food was hit and miss. The cocktails were not drinkable. Could also do with a do not disturb sign for the room doors - we were woken up by the cleaner every morning and there was no way of letting her know we wanted privacy in the mornings. I would suggest it was more of a 3 star than a 4 star hotel
Great location, lots of bars, shops and restaurants near by. Only a 5 min walk to the beach. The rooms are clean and the staff were friendly. It was a good affordable all inclusive and the private pools were great.

United KingdomThere were no English tv channels. A sun parasol would have been very useful on the patio, it was exceptionally hot, above average temperatures and had to go inside our room to escape the sun.
The food buffet was plentiful and good. We were AI we loved the ice cream and pizza served every day by pool bar. Drinks were great and absolutely lovely Maria who went out of her way to ring people she knew for pedicures we wanted. Cleaning lady came every day and went to find a mattress topper as I found bed to firm & had back ache after 2nd day. We were delighted to get free room upgrade to honeymoon suit on arrival, so big thanks to Vassa on reception 🥰 we got a corner suit with bigger pool & patio. Location was perfect, with plenty of shops & restaurants within a few minutes walk.

United KingdomThe pool area needed more umbrellas and maybe a couple more sunbeds. Breakfast wasn't amazing, but perhaps that is just down to my taste. Water not being provided in the rooms or at breakfast was a shame

GermanyI definitely booked 2 beds, but was given with one double and proposed to pay extra for the upgrade to the room with 1 double+1single bed, we managed somehow, but first impression was spoiled. The beach is not best, so either rent a car or pick room with a pool. We had the one with jacuzzi, which we never used. Taste of the tab water is strange. Drinks in a restaurant are quite simple or had "chemical" taste, only fresh orange juice was ok for breakfast. Strange option with special dinner, just the same food from the regular lobb, but served on the rooftop (nice area normally closed - why?). If you think on special event like birthday or romantic dinner - it is not what you need, go to the restaurant.
Nice calm place, you need a car to reach better options, the good thing is that it is very cheap and you can spend days exploring Rhodes, also tourist bus stop is nearby. Food is ok, nothing fancy. Furniture and facilities are acceptable (except of a shower, which is below expectations). Our room was big, large terrace with jacuzzi and nice view to the big pines (?) and buses with flowers, from the distance you can see the sea.

United KingdomThe only negative we had was we stayed for 11 nights and the mattress could’ve been softer.
The hotel was amazing! The staff really made the hotel, anything you asked for they worked hard to make sure you got it. Vasilia on reception was fantastic in advising what to do in the area and cheapest ways to get around. The chefs and waiting staff were brilliant, attentive and friendly. And George on the bar was superb! His drinks were strong and he made every night fun for us. We had the honeymoon suite with the pool and it’s well worth the extra cost even though it’s still great value for money. Would stay again!

United KingdomThe evening meals could have been nicer, the variety was good and for the price we paid maybe we can not complain too much but the evening meals were very bland and felt like they had just reheated frozen food. The bed mattress was very firm and as a side sleeper not so comfortable.
We booked the honeymoon suite in October and the room did not disappoint, good size room and the private pool was just what we needed. Breakfast was very good selection and lunch was good option to keep us going and soak up the very strong cocktails.
