Extremely nice , welcoming and helpful girls at reception. Gave us very interesting advise where to go', even without us asking for help. Thank you! Beautiful hotel , spotlessly clean, very high quality furnishings. The staff were very welcoming & helpful, they also have a small car park which is so convenient. The location ideal for a city , sightseeing just a short walk to all places of interest and restaurants. the breakfast was lovely and nicely presented. I would definitely recommend this hotel, top marks all round, Thank you.

Parking space was a little bit challenging to get into, but I'm glad free parking was offered at all. No other issues!

Breakfast was wonderful every morning with plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. Location was great, walking distance to the beach and Chania's Old Town. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, large shower. Staff was very friendly.

This place is the best kept secret in Chania. Very close walk to the old town Venetian Harbor with extremely comfortable rooms, spacious, spotlessly clean and comfy beds/pillows. And the helpfulness of the manager Georgia is unsurpassed. She is the sweetest, kindest, most lovely person who goes out of her way to help with anything and everything. And now for the most scrumptious part - the breakfasts are extraordinary! We live in Europe and have traveled all over the world and literally travel outside of our home to other countries multiple times each month every month so we stay in a lot of hotels and have had many lovely breakfasts but this is a whole other level of service and taste. Simply wonderful Greek delicacies as well as eggs and coffee and tea and pastries cakes and all sorts of bread and fruits and yogurt brought to the table. It's so amazing I wanted to keep this place a secret but that wouldn't be fair. Go and enjoy!

Not much. For those who are not keen in walking, just keep in mind that it might be a bit tricky to go to city center on foot in summer heat.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The room was very spacious and we spent a very comfortable couple of days at the end of a tiring vacation. There was a dedicated parking lot so we had no issues parking our rental car. Reception was easily reachable online & offline and they helped us a lot with local recommendations for beaches, restaurants and attractions. The location is about 20 mins of walking from the center, which was acceptable for us.

This property is extremely modern and well equipped. It is spacious and luxurious. The special Abea products in the bathroom were amazing. Use of bicycles and a good car park. Loved this place and can’t recommend it enough.

Nice brand new Hotel with bright spacious room, nice bathroom with big shower and lots of free products included a bathrobe! Great location a few mins walk from the old town. Amazing cooked just for you with eggs, yougurts, fresh fruits, jam, local dessert, tea, coffee.... Free parking just on the side of the building.

That is an amazing and luxurious hotel to stay at, with a private parking, incredible personel (especially the owner) who provided us with so many fantastic local tips, beach towels and umbrellas, smile, and even some sweet watermelon and ironing service when approached. The cleaning service is done everyday. The rooms are just beautiful, we didn't use the jacuzzi in the room but it looked appealing, the bed was huge and comfy, and the terrace lovely. We didn't buy the breakfast but saw when other guests enjoyed it, looked delish!! The hotel is a walking distance to the centre and still in a calm area. I would definitely choose it again, it's worth the price for sure! Thank you for this incredible experience!! :)

Nothing to not like about the property

I recently stayed at Balance Hotel in Chania, and it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is centrally located, just a 10-minute walk from the main market. There's ample parking space, comfortably accommodating up to six cars, which was a big plus. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready with great suggestions. I also appreciated that, upon request, they provided beach umbrellas and towels at no extra charge—a thoughtful touch. The breakfast spread was hearty and delicious, setting us up for the day. We truly loved our time here. Chania has won our hearts, and so has Balance Hotel. Highly recommended!

The staff get a 10 star plus for hospitality. They went above and beyond to help us. The breakfast was quite delicious. I loved the fresh orange juice each morning. The beds were comfortable. The staff had excellent restaurant recommendations for us. We went on a food tour and told our food tour host where we ate. He told us we ate at one of his all time favorite restaurants. So, the hotel gives out great recommendations!!!

The hotels location was absolutely perfect away from the main town yet in walking distance and walking distance to the beaches. The staff went above and beyond for us, with organising tours, very helpful and knowledgeable of what Chania has to offer, along with complimentary breakfast on our first and last day and a free bottle of wine! GSo friendly, this was the first time I've felt teary leaving a hotel and am looking forward to returning next year.

All the staff were really helpful with great suggestions on places to go and visit! Great location! It's a 5 minute walk from the center and they have their own private parking, so perfect if you want to rent a car for your time in Chania.

We didn’t book breakfast as the hotel was close to bakeries but it looked and smelled great! The hotel was about 10 mins walk away from the Old Venetian Port and Old Town which was buzzing with restaurants, and about 10 mins in the opposite direction from Nea Chora beach which offered slightly more chill restauranting. The hotel also offered off street parking right outside the property, it was a little tricky to get out of but it was very useful. It felt very safe staying there and secure when coming back late. Big shout out to the receptionists who were always friendly and who had great suggestions for us, there were there early and late- we once got back at 11:30pm. Our room was super clean and we logged into Netflix easily!

Excellent 3-night stay only 10-15 minutes from the buzzing old town of Xania. Great hospitality, daily room cleaning, complementary drinks and chocolate in the room and a nice balcony with a sunbed. The bathroom was spacious and smartly designed. Our favorite spot 💯 Free parking behind the entrance. Beach towels also provided free of charge. Breakfast is served at an additional charge of €15/person, although we didn't try.
