When I scheduled a 4:15 am taxi for a 6:30 am flight the next morning, the desk clerk seemed confused and irritated.

Excellent location within walking distance to most sites or transit. Very quiet and clean. Very good breakfast.

There was lots of renovations outside in the street!!

The personnel especially the experienced lady was very helpful especially with a taxi that wanted to overcharge us by 50 euros!

Staff in the breakfast area could have been more attentive. When we arrived for breakfast there was smoke filling the area and no one had paid attention to it. I'm asthmatic and had to go out for a bit and we returned to our room with our hair and clothes smelling like smoke. Had we not drawn attention to it there could have been a fire.

Very comfortable room. Good shower, though would have liked some bench space. Beds were comfortable and staff were very friendly.

Our room was at the top of the building, but the lift stops on the floor below, so we had to negotiate a steep set of stairs with luggage. Not a problem for us, but for those less able it may be an issue. The view of the Acropolis was nice, however the main view was of a run down building directly in front of our window with the Acropolis behind it in the distance. There was even more of a view in the evening as we looked out and saw a scantily clad woman with a pole in her room on which she was practicing her moves! Breakfast was okay, a fair choice but they seemed understaffed whilst we were there and they kept running out of plates and cutlery and were quite slow at replenishing hot foods once the trays were empty.

Excellent location, just a short walk from Monastiraki Square. Nice, clean and comfortable room at the top of the building with a view of the Acropolis. Reception staff were exceptional and gave us lots of helpful information about the area and were very helpful when we asked for extra pillows for our room. The prices of the mini bar were some of the cheapest we've ever seen so made use of the cold drinks/wine/beer supplied. Air-con was very effective and kept the room nice and chilled.

Small elevator (although common in Athens), a little off the main roads (could also be a good thing)

Very good location for walking to Montastariki Square area and Acropolis. Difficult for cars to get there- very narrow street/alley but our driver did pick us up in front of the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations, and allowed us to drop off our luggage while we walked around and waited for our room to be ready (and after check out until going to Airport). Nice breakfast included.

We had to wait for our room to be ready upon arrival which was annoying after a very early start travelling from UK but were given a bottle of water whilst we waited. The bathroom was functional but very tiny and the fan was incredibly noisy (probably not a major issue to most people but I thought it was worth mentioning).

The location of the hotel was great and within easy walking distance of cafés, restaurants etc. The staff were all extremely helpful and polite. We'd booked a twin room which was compact but very adequate for a two night stay........great hairdryer in the bathroom (which I personally find a huge plus), tea/coffee making facilities, full length mirror, safe, power sockets next to the beds, shower gel etc. The air conditioning unit worked exceptionally well which was very much appreciated when dealing with 34 degree heat outside!! A housekeeping issue encountered when entering the room for the first time was dealt with immediately and we were offered a complimentary drink at the bar, which was a nice gesture. The choice of items at breakfast was OK, although we only ate the cold items and didn't have any hot food but the choice looked adequate.

Not even worth a -1 but the toilet flush button was broken and the shower wets the floor which was annoying to clean. But we still loved this hotel and happily give it a 10/10

Everything, the staff were amazing, one lady was very helpful with helping me organise a washing load and helped chase up my clothes when the laundromat hadn't returned them as planned. They were always happy to help + make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was beautiful and the location was central to everything we wanted to do. We loved the room and felt so cosy and relaxed.

Need blinds over skylights as quite light in room at night. Weird shower over large spa bath, water spraying onto floor and into toilet floor.

Location, cleanliness, comfortable bed, friendly staff. We traveled to Crete and Paros before staying our last night here again prior to flying to London, we decided that we had too much luggage so the hotel agreed to keep our 2 large suitcases until we arrived back in Athens.

The breakfast starts at 8, which is not convenient. If it starts at 7.30 it will be more convenient for those who have to leave early.

Breakfast was ok but quite basic. I am gluten free and despite giving lots of notice the hotel was only able to offer me gluten free rusks on the first morning, however the second morning l was given gluten free cereal and bread. On Sunday when we arrived most supermarkets are closed so only limited gluten free products available. Our door wouldn’t open properly it stuck on the floor and would only open half way.

Great location, quiet at night. Able to walk to most tourist attractions. Lots of restaurants supermarket and Monastiraki Station 5 minutes walk . The hotel agreed to keep the majority of our luggage so we didn’t have to cart it all to the islands as we will return for 1 night prior to leaving for the uk.

Our room had a frosted glass window and if opened, to a view of another building just feet away. But overall it was comfortable although quite small.

The cleaning was very bad. We are 3 girls for 5 days and the person that was cleaning our room the do not replaced the dirty glasses and the never change the bed sheets. Also they never put us new shampoos or toilet paper and we have to ask for them every day!! She does moop only the last day before we left.
