Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

Location was excellent, very central in the Plaka, close to Parthenon, multitude of ongoing excavations, many restaurants, some bakeries, and places to have a small bite. Breakfast was very good, multiple choices; American, as well as Greek items. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the city; there was a small rooftop climbing a short flight of stairs that allowed us to have a full view of the Parthenon -we loved this!

Great location with good breakfast options. Quick stopover before our flight within 10 minutes walk from Monastiraki station. Staff were friendly and helpful.

CyprusThe toilet door had neither handle nor lock. You could just pushed it open. And we needed to scold our 5 year old son who thought that it was fun to open the door while either my wife or myself were using toilet / shower. As we were there for only 4 days, we did not have time to tell the reception to change us bedroom or add a lock to the door. The other thing was that the elevators were rather small as it is a renovated boutique hotel, but this was not such a problem as the first one.

United KingdomVery central! The staff was really smiley and helpful. My bedroom, as for the other areas, was very clean. Breakfast was good, you could choose from a range of savoury and sweet options. Coffee machine not the best. Rooftop was really nice, calm, relaxing and with a splendid view. You can walk to the Acropolis (15/20 mins). Buses and Metro very close. I made my way from the airport via the express bus that left me at Syntagma Square. I rachead the hotel walking for just 10 mins.

IsraelUnfortunately, the main entrance of the hotel was quite disappointing and didn't match the standard we expected. It felt more like the entrance to a supermarket rather than a hotel, with images of fruits and vegetables on the door. This gave a very misleading first impression, which didn't reflect the quality of the hotel itself. It would be much better if the entrance were redesigned to create a more welcoming and appropriate ambiance for guests.
Our stay at this hotel was quite pleasant. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and it made our experience comfortable. The breakfast was acceptable, offering enough variety to start the day. The location was a major highlight, with a great view of the Acropolis and close proximity to many historical sites and central attractions. Overall, a good choice for those looking to explore the city's rich history while enjoying a clean and comfortable stay.
