It had everything that you need. Everything was clean, and the owner was very kind! The windows are old. However, they provide ear plugs! There was no plug on the wall next to the bed, but they provided an extension cable!

What I missed most was the large mirror where you can see yourself from head to toe. It can be a bit noisy in the evening and at dawn, but you can use earplugs, but I was so tired after walkings that slept very well and the noise didn't bother me

very nice location with lift and great views from the window. Right in the city centre, with excellent transport links, a few steps from the Monastiraki metro, and lots of great breakfast taverns nearby. The apartment is clean, nobody disturbed it, all the essentials are there. It can be a bit noisy in the evening and at dawn, but you can use earplugs. I was so tired after walkings around the city that slept very well and the noise didn't bother me

The room is located in a dodgy looking building and the keys were quite difficult to find (a few other lock boxes are nearby). One side of the bed felt like it was slightly broken and felt like you were about to roll off the bed. The microwave also didn’t work at all. Upon reaching out for assistance with it, I received no response at all. Not a great experience when we had purchased food to heat up.

The location was amazing - Shops were close by, Monastiraki Square was a short walk and the Acropolis was only a 15 min uphill hike. Having a kitchen was super handy and the apartment was quite spacious. The beautiful of the Acropolis was also very nice!

The bedding was limited and beds not very comfortable. We found the apartment hard to find at first. A photo of the entrance on your listing may be helpful.

The A/C wasn’t that cold

Very central location close to everything. Train station was just around the corner and lots of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. We also walked to Acropolis.

the building where it was located was not really great.

the apartment was ok, the location was great we had everything needed. it would also be good for a stay longer than 2 days, but it’s perfect for 2 pp. and not more. The host was nice and available for any questions or help.

This apartment was a scam. When I arrived I noticed dirty stains on the pillow and sheets. Examining more carefully I found a dirty towel as well in the drawer under the bed. On one side of the bed I found an hair clip and some bugs sign the floor wasn’t cleaned. There was a stain on the couch as well and some hair and residue in the bathroom. But the most concerning thing for me as a solo female traveller was the safety. The entrance to the building is located at the end of a sketchy looking alley. The staircase is very dirty, there’s chairs, shoes thrown on the stairs and even a mattress left in the elevator area. The privacy/safety of the apartment is non existent as the door is super thin and just closes with a very simple key, very easy to break in and with no safety lock from the inside. Overall I felt deeply unsafe in this place and anxious at the thought of having to sleep there. I was left in a very bad situation of being alone in a new city having no safe place to sleep and having to find a new solution by myself. Cherry on top, I won’t be even able to get a refund (afrer paying almost 100€ for this!) since the owner told Booking they went there to check an everything looked ok and acceptable for them.

There was no iron to go with the ironing board. Also would have been helpful to have tea/coffee to go with the Kettle provided.

View and location was spectacular. Owners were very amenable when I made an error in my booking dates. Air-conditioning is perfect for the Athens heat.
