There was a bit of traffic noise when we slept with the windows open.

The room was comfortable and very clean. The location was also great, close to restaurants, the beach and grocery store, and the view out over the sea was stunning. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful.

The road next to apartments. But it's "a problem" most of all tourists villages and cities:( Thanks to the owner, we had an air conditioner in the room, so we closed the windows and sleep silently all night. So the road isn't a problem of the apartments, but it's a kind of inconvenience. The beach which is suitable for swimming (without rocks) isn't situated in 50 m:) the nearest one is 5-7 minutes walk, is situated opposite to the supermarket. It was a bit disappointed, because due to the description of the apartments and Google maps it looked like i could cross the road and swam in the sea, but the reality was a bit different:( The internet was poor. Isn't suitable for those who are working remotely:) even the mobile internet worked badly. The rooms look more spacious on the photo than in reality.

The host and the cleaning stuff were great. I like the location. It's much better than to stay in the centre of Kalyves. The great supermarket Synka is really close as well as the cafes and restaurants. I like the option the cleaning 🧹 was done once in two days and the rubbish bags were taken everyday. The view, me and my husband could enjoy the sea view and greet the sun every day (highly recommend ❤️) it's exactly like on the photos.

The only minor downside was the internet connection was poor but as we were on holiday it was only a minor niggle.

We were warmly greeted by the owner Marie who ensured we had a trouble free and very enjoyable stay. The apartment was kept very clean with towels changed regularly. The additional facilities of the cafe and bar overlooking the sea added to our enjoyment. The beach was just a 10 minute stroll away and offered an excellent choice of food and drinks. The views across Souda Bay from our balcony were amazing.

I could not find any faults at all Maria and her family went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable the apartment was spotless and maid came every day you could not ask for more the café/bar and beach bar with amazing views were great and food was delicious I will definitely be going back and cannot recommend highly enough

The road was just in front of the property, which usually wouldn’t have bothered me bit a lot of times people would drive very fast and I could hear it in the apartment.

The rooms were nice and clean, just out of the window I could see the sea so the view was also really nice. The owner was so kind to let me stay over the check out time on my last day which was very helpful!! There is also a bigger supermarket very close. So location-wise is also very nice.

We have just returned from our holiday..It was a lovely apartment, beautiful location,balcony overlooking the ocean. Yes it is on a main road and at times a little noisy in the night but the sound of the ocean makes up for it and we didn't mind.. The apartment was lovely and clean, a/c in the bedroom, cleaned daily, and had a lovely cafe and bar attached to it which had absolutely great food and great service - and I am a fussy eater! Supermarket very close by (5min) 3 more resturants within a couple of minutes walk, and the village a 10min walk with more restaurants and supermarkets (no footpaths). Bus service to chania seems typical of overseas holidays- late..but very comfortable bus. Maria our host was always available with a friendly greeting.. Wi-Fi not always very strong but when your on holiday it's perfectly adequate! Overall we would absolutely come back here and would recommend it to other couples

Beautiful apartment with a view of one of the most lovely seas we’ve ever seen. Family run by very kind people. Clean, organized and stocked with everything necessary to cook a nice meal. In addition to all of this, there were boxes full of beach gear and books available for guests to enjoy. Thank you for a memorable trip!!

The bus stop is not very convenient to get to if you do not have a car. Otherwise there's a car parking space and the people are helpful. Nothing else in particular, maybe some noise from the street if the widnows are open.

The apartment facing the sea was amazing. It had all the basic requirements, plus the suipermarket was nearby. the beach is few minutes walk away. It also has a few lovely coffee places to have a coffee in the morning

Calm, relaxing, and charming location. The apartment was totally clean, and well-equipped and the sea view is unbelievable. Maria, her son, and daughter are so friendly, tactful, and welcoming, always try to do the best for their guest. It was really great being around them. Next to the apartment, there is a coffee shop named Cafe Delight with excellent coffee, tasty brunch food, and a beautiful panorama ( same owner ) Nice, sandy beach is only 5 minutes and a big supermarket as well. I highly recommend this accommodation. Definitely go back.
