We were travelling on foot and this is a hilly area, so be ready for some exercise.

A minor thing, but the shower fixtures are vintage and a bit hard to negotiate. The whole space is very bespoke and delicate, so we were often in a bit of a "let's be careful" posture while staying.

Arguably the most superior sea views in all of Ermoupoli. We stayed in the King's Suite, and the balcony views were sweeping, dramatic, humbling. There is extraordinary attention to detail throughout the hotel, and it's a personal, familial effort. The family provides homemade jams, breads, confectionaries (sweet spoons) they've made throughout the year from their own gardens elsewhere in the city.

The perfect place in a perfect island. Everything was exceptional. The carefully renovated neoclassical building by the sea overlooking the almost private beach, the family owing the place taking care of every detail. The breakfast was excellent. We have also been upgraded to the room with the balcony looking over the Aegean and the neighboring islands. It was the top experience of our vacation.

Nice small hotel, peaceful, very friendly staff. Walking to the bus to get to all beaches around was easy even in the hot weather. The view from the hotel is stunning. Picture perfect!

We thoroughly loved everything about this hotel and the people. I can’t think of one thing we didn’t like!

The breakfasts were wonderful! Made to order each day and the food they used were farm to table. The hotel’s location was great, on a hill so the view was beautiful, but close enough to town to walk. Our room was very spacious and we had our own private patio. The family that owns this hotel were so nice and helpful!

Perfect small hotel. We had amazing views From the room and From big balcony over the sea. Staff was very friedly and breakfast just amazing- best ever I can say. Quit location but Easy walk to restaurants and shops. There is also a little bay where you can take a swim.

No lift and we had heavy luggage but that was really a small thing.

Beautiful quiet location away from the busy town centre and yet close enough to make exploring Ermopoli very easy on foot and the rest of Syros by car. Very well appointed rooms, comfortable, modern and stylishly decorated with excellent views of the sea and distant views of the port. Staff friendly and helpful and made a booking at a great little restaurant in Ermoupoli for our first night . Breakfasts a real delight, you can't go hungry very generous portions and delightful homemade jams and little tasty morsals/presents from the kitchen just make it all very special. Do yourself a favour and enjoy breakfast on your balcony one morning, lovely.

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful setting. Clean, comfortable rooms and lovely views out to sea. Our hosts were friendly and made our stay on Syros very welcoming and memorable. Breakfast was fresh and we had a great selection to choose from. Portions were generous and added homemade treats every day were great . We’d love to return again. Thank you Depi and family.

Our staying was amazing. The location of the hotel was unique and the view from the room was more than anything we could have hoped for! The staff was willing and helpful at everything and everything was amazingly clean!! The highlight was the breakfast with homemade bread , jams made by the owner and a surprise dessert . We will be back for sure!!

The whole experience was terrific and exceeded all our expectations! Clean, unique, elegant room with a very comfortable bed and breathtaking sea view! We couldn't find a flaw, everything was exceptional. Breakfast was also one of a kind: homemade marmalades, bread, fresh juice , everything was prepared by the owners themselves. Staff was always polite, helpful and we felt welcome and appreciated from day one. Thank you so much for the terrific experience, everything was awesome and flawless!

Very nice island, very beautiful structure, amazing view on the sea. Perfect service from the staff, breakfast is carefully prepared with homemade products and served in a lovely room. The location allows to reach the central Ermoupolis area, with shops streets and front sea restaurants

We really enjoy our stay in Arion Syros. The hotel is amazing with wonderful sea view! It is close to the town center and offer a nice short walk to there. You also have different choices for breakfast and can enjoy it in a cozy breakfast room! All the people working there are really nice and helpful! It is like you are at home :)
