The best host ever! The room is definitely worth much more than what you paid for! So tastefully decorated and the bed is dreamily comfy! Feels like a home away from home. The hostess will even serve you biscuits when they clean the room! When I return to Naxos, I'll no doubt stay here again! Location is also perfect as it is a short 5 - 10 mins walk away! I pretty much walked everywhere including to the central town area which would take you approximately 20 minutes to reach.

There was nothing to dislike.

Clean and fresh with everything one might need to be really comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful and easy to communicate with. Perfect location as well, close to town, the supermarket and the beach but without all the noise.

The host Maria was fantastic. Couldnt do enough for you despite the language barrier. The rooms were perfect, comfortable beds, super clean, lovely bathroom and a short walk in to the centre which we liked.

We have never in all our years been greeted at a property with such warmth! This hotel, and Maria, set the bar HIGH for all our other stays in the Cyclades - none of which compared to beautiful Arhontiko. The property is so well built and designed, comfortable and well located close to the beach and a 15 minute walk from the center of Chora. Every day Maria's sweet "Yassas!" and the little treats she left in our room brought a smile to our faces - we will never forget her and are so glad we booked here. An authentic Greek property with lovely owners, 10 out of 10!

Water pressure in one the showers was very weak

Beautiful decoration and good facilities Having two showers and bathrooms was great The verandas/balcony were the perfect spot to relax Beds were very comfortable and the AC and TV with Netflix were excellent features. There is a bus stop very close to the property to access other beaches (which are all beautiful) There is a beach about 5 minutes away and the main town is a 15/20 minute walk Kiria Maria was lovely and would often leave fruit or sweet treats in the room.

We had an exceptional stay at Arhontiko. From the beautiful room and property, to convenient location, and above all the hospitality of the property manager Maria, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay on the island. Maria truly made us feel like part of her family, and took extra special care of our little guy. We are already talking about when we will get back!

This place was lovely. Maria our host greeted us like we were her family. Left us fruit in the fridge on our second day and then homemade cake the next. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Rooms were beautifully done. The beach was a short stroll from the accommodation and to town centre. Highly recommend.

It is a 2km walk to the center city so a car rental is beneficial.

Maria is a wonderful person. We were able to communicate despite not speaking the same language. Her place is pristine and exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Can’t thing of anything

The location and the cleanliness. Maria really is the one who makes this place so special. She makes sure you are well taken care and very comfortable. Everyday she leaves a little something in your room for you to enjoy. The beach is within a shot walking distance as well as OldTown.

Large comfortable, open room. Easy walk to beach, centre and bus. Highlight was the delightful and effervescent Maria. So helpful. We asked about a laundry nearby but Maria insisted that she would do our laundry. Left little treats and snacks for us every day. Lovely lady and beautiful little granddaughter.

We wished our room didn’t face a loud, busy street…as we didn’t feel very comfortable sitting outside for our meals and didn’t want to open the window because it was loud.

Nektaria, our host, was very friendly and gave us some tips about where to go in Naxos. We also had free transport from her office to the accommodation, which was very nice! The room was very clean, cutely decorated, and had everything we need. It was very comfortable and very easy to access Naxos from there. We loved our cleaning person, Maria! She was so incredibly sweet and kind, she made our stay there feel very special.

Loved it all.

The property is clean and well kept, sound-proof walls, all amenities, walking distance to beach and boardwalk. Walking distance to Chora square and markets. Maria, on site, was the greatest of hostesses. We loved her! We’d stay there again just to see her.

Everything was as we expected.

Room and facilities were new and extremely clean. Some toast and toppings were provided. Grocery stores within 5min walk. Stove and refrigerator in the room along with dishes and utensils. Maria was a perfect host and cleaned our room every day and provided fresh towels. Beach and some restaurants were close and we walked to town a few times a day.

The location is perfect (walking distance to downtown, beach and windsurfing area). The highlight of our accommodation was Mrs Maria, the soul of the apartment which brightened our days with her smile, kindness and open heart!

Close to the beach and beach clubs while still being outside the business of the Chora. Less than 5 minute walk to market, coffee, bakery and authentic Greek grill. Great outdoor space for morning coffee or evening cards. Two bathrooms/showers was a great bonus.

The toilet flush wasn't strong on our first day, and on the second day it stopped working! But the owner immediately asked for the plumber & had it fixed very soon.

The room has everything we can hope for. It's like an AirBnb apartment with cooking facilities (even though we didn't cook) and a hugh balcony for us to have a relaxing breakfast (with our own food) and to have our washed clothes dry out. It's also very clean & spacious, and the owner is very friendly even though she doesn't speak much English. It's very enjoyable to be able to just walk to the beach in a few minutes & start swimming!

Nothing really! The bed was a bit soft but we still slept great

We loved our stay here! The hostess/owner Maria was so warm and friendly, greeting us enthusiastically everytime she saw us and even bringing us fresh vegetables from her garden to welcome us. While our room was on the small side it had lots of thoughtful details so we felt like we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The room was nicely decorated and Maria cleaned it daily. The location was great, a bit set back from the main town but still within walking distance with a beautiful beach just a 5 minute walk away. Our family of three was very happy and comfortable here and we would definitely stay again!

Maria was incredibly friendly and helpful. She took care of me when I arrived with food poisoning (got in the UK) and supplied us with lots of tasty treats to eat and even gave us some of her own homemade wine, which was delicious. Our room was very large (there are other rooms there that are smaller) and we had a huge balcony. The towels were changed every day. We had mosquito nets over the beds and a plug in mosquito repellant was supplied (but we didn’t need to use it). It was located a very easy 2-3 minute walk to the lovely St. George’s beach and it was great to walk along the back of the beach to town each evening for our meals. There is an excellent large supermarket just a 3-4 minute walk away. There was every cooking facility needed in the room and I’m sure if there was something special you needed, Maria would get it for you. Highly recommended accommodation, especially at this price.
