Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

YemenNothing all fantastic
I rr me Wonderful. Will definitely stay again. This hotel exceeded expectations in every way. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring a delightful stay. The room offered breathtaking views, and the property’s interior and exterior were beautifully decorated. The generous breakfast options, including buffet and à la carte choices, added to the experience. We extend our gratitude to Jordan, the manager, who not only handled our inquiries professionally but also generously upgraded us to a room with a private pool—a delightful gesture! It was truly the best hotel experience we've ever had, and we can't wait to return!

United KingdomWe stayed for one night at the hotel following a family wedding nearby. We were very kindly upgraded from a premium sea view room to a suite with a private pool on our arrival, which was a really special touch! The hotel is beautiful and very clean. It has a small boutique feel. Our room was very comfortable and of an extremely high standard. The thing that stood out the most for us was the hotel staff. They bend over backwards to give you a great experience. Kyriakos and Georgia int he restaurant in particular were great. They catered so well for a last minute party of 40 who arrived before our family wedding with ease at a time of year which is normally much quieter for them! The food is of high standard too!

NetherlandsThere's a beautiful beach nearby but only one restaurant that doesn't cost a kidney at walkable distance. The hotel's food is tasty but a little overpriced (not as much as the nearby beach clubs).
Staff was really helpful. The complimentary van that takes you to Mykonos town is very convenient and free. They upgraded us for free to the honeymoon suite as it was towards the end of the season.

RomaniaThere are a couple of thinga that can be improved: - the bed was way too soft for me (personal preference) - although clean and changed on a daily basis, the towels could have used some bleaching - our room was a bit noisy in the morning when the cleaning ladies started working at around 8:30
Our stay at Archipelagos Hotel was very pleasant, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and extremely responsive to our requests. Definitely a good value for the money.

United KingdomThis hotel is perfect. It is magically unpretentious despite the stylish top end surroundings and service. The staff are exceptional - quietly remembering and predicting what you might want or need with a light smile and sense of humour, both relaxed and incredibly professional. Somehow, despite being a 5-star hotel, it has managed to repel (or placate) almost all rude or demanding guests which makes it a haven. I expect it is somewhere people return to loyally again and again. The location is the best for a beach/pool holiday I have encountered. Rooms face a fabulous panoramic sea view, many right in front of it. Kalo Livadi beach, a few minutes walk away and also in clear view from the hotel and its rooms, has crystal clear water and soft golden sand. It is not too big or too isolated. At this time of year it always had ample space but was never deserted. There is plenty of space to bring your own towel without paying for a beach club lounger. The pool is also lovely, with a great bar but also a variety of areas to sit in the shade or sun. Music and decor are top end. The food is a triumph - a fusion of Greek and other Mediterranean flavours. I had prepared to go elsewhere but didn’t even want to consider it once I had dinner there on the first night. It’s not cheap, but actually a decent wine or beer starts at normal London prices (7 euros for a pint) and there are affordable food options like simple pasta or pizza for 15-20 euros. Or you can go for a fresh shrimp risotto which will knock your socks off for 30 euros. And Greek dishes you may consider predictable such as tzatziki are somehow everything you expect but also elevated. I also recommend the mushroom pitta for lunch.

United KingdomA stunning view, lovely pool & rooms are beautifully decorated. There’s a free shuttle every day at various times too which is a bonus. The hotel restaurant is also good. We’ve stayed here a few times and I continue to recommend this hotel to anyone looking to come to Mykonos and enjoy some down time.

United KingdomALL POSITIVES re: hotel. .
Beautiful hotel in a stunning location walking distance from the beach.with well kept colourful landscaped gardens, a pleasure to walk by everyday. I was upgraded to a lovely extremely spacious junior suite complete with complimentary rose. Perfect start to my 'mini' vacation. Lovely clean interior, natural carved drift wood features, woven wood light pendants, stone walled huge walkin shower all in keeping with its natural environment. The large balcony and stunning views of the sea was ideal to sit out on with coffee. 1st visit to Greece, traveling solo. I came end of season and didn’t realise the hotel was due to close the day of my departure. However, while the hotel wasn't at full capacity, the attentiveness and courteous hospitality exhibited by all the staff didn't waiver and was consistent fom front desk through to the restaurant waiting staff. Especially Constantinos great customer service, answering my queries ahead off and throughout my stay and Vassilika (apologies if I misspelt).. who was also very accommodating, helpful & patience. Breakfast buffet was filling offering a very good variety incl. healthy options, alternative 'milks and cooked eggs options. The Alacarte menu is pricey but expected for the area. I had a main meal, snack and an indulgent dessert during my stay., alongside wine and coffee. The free shuttle bus drop off and pick up service meant I was able to spend a full day in Mykonos Town. The transfer driver* and Costas who stepped in one day were both personable, friendly easy to converse with. *Apologise name forgotten In addition, being able to arrange airport transfer service for a fee was very covenient.

United KingdomWe had some issues with housekeeping which could have been better dealt with. The overall cleanliness was good but we got back at the hotel one day after a whole day out and the room was only partially done. The bed was undone and they had taken the used towels but did not replace them with new ones. It was late in the evening and our baby was tired. After complaining reception sent the housekeeper to finish the room but did not apologise which we thought was a bit unprofessional. A complementary treat to compensate for the time we had to wait to go back to our room would have been nice too, but they didn’t offer anything. They also forgot a an walkie-talkie in the room one day. Apart from that, the hotel staff was really nice and helpful, specially at the restaurant and bar. Despite this incident we very much recommend the hotel. Housekeeping can be improved though.
We had a lovely stay at Archipelagos Hotel. The hotel is perfectly located, just 5 min walk from Kalo Livadi. The premises were lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. The views from the rooms and the common areas are stunning. The food at the restaurant was great too.
