It was a bit of a struggle to carry our cases up two flights of a curving external marble staircase. Not that there is anything to be done about that but it could perhaps be made more prominent on the website.

The property has been beautifully restored and tastefully furnished. It was lovely to get our breakfast in a basket of goodies to carry to our room and eat on the balcony. There was plenty of variety each day.

Our stay at Anthemion House in Kavala was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Vangelis and Maria made us feel incredibly welcome, providing thoughtful touches like welcome and farewell gifts, and offering fantastic advice on the best places to visit. Their warm hospitality truly elevated our experience. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with meticulous attention to detail, both inside and out, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, with incredibly soft beds and strong, reliable wifi. We especially loved the balcony on the first floor, which offered a stunning view of the castle. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the city centre, the old town, and the marina. The free parking was an added convenience, making our stay even more hassle-free. The included breakfast was delicious and provided a great start to our day. Overall, Anthemion House delivers outstanding value for money, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kavala. We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at the Anthemion House. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect. Only some mins away from the center. We had one of the best breakfast so far- everything was very well organized- the apartment that we stayed was amazing. We strongly recommend it to anyone who like to visit in Kavala. We will be back!

The staff was very kind,even if we arrived very late for the chekin and gave us a lot information where we can serve the meal so late. And in the morning,a basket was waiting for us,with everything you want to eat for breakfast. Very practical and elegant. Our second stay here. A wonderful boutique hotel. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. The breakfast is so good. It is possible to reach the center on foot and there is a private parking lot. This is always my first choice when I come to Kavala.
