The room had almost everything! There was no curtain in the shower but it didn't bother

Maria was amazing to us, she stayed up late to welcome us after a long flight from the US. In the early morning she assisted in finding a taxi back to the airport. Thanks Maria you are the best! The location is soooo close to the beach, we're sorry that we had only 9 hours for a connection. It's a great value!

This is our first visit to Hotel Ammos, and let me tell you, it won't be our last. The hotel is right on the beach, with slow spa energy. The room is modern, bathroom and every part of it was spotless. We had everything that we needed. The bar serves great food and delicious coffee. They have sunbeds on the beach that guests can use. The beach is maintained and clean, and the sea is turquoise blue with shallow entry slowly going to depths. But the true gem in this hotel is their hostess Maria. Her energy, hospitality, and kindness are unmatched. We travel a lot, and we never met a host that was so professional but so friendly, making us feel like we came to visit our family and not as passing guests in the hotel.

Close by the sea, with a wonderful view, the hotel exceeds your expectations from the first meeting with the hosts. Very friendly and communicative, they showed us the main amenities, guided us through the hotel and the room. Very clean, all you need for either a short and long stay.

The hotel was great, but it is a bit of a walk to local restaurants and supermarkets - 640m in one direction and 1.8km in the other. We picked this hotel for the end of our stay in Greece because it is closer to the local airport than Thessaloniki city, but the taxi to the airport cost the same! (25 to 30 euros). But it was a quicker ride, which was helpful in the early morning.

The location is excellent with respect to the beach, as the hotel has direct frontage on the beach. The bar associated with the hotel provides sun lounges and umbrellas on the beach and brings drinks there on request. Our room on the first floor had a nice balcony, with table and chairs, looking at the sea. The host was lovely and explained everything necessary very well in perfect English. The hotel can be easily reached from the public bus by walking.

We had a nice night after our flight to Thessaloniki airport. The hotel is close to the airport. It is a quiete location, beautifull located at the sea. There are nice restaurants close to the hotel. We had a very good breakfast in the morning.

The most admirable thing as for Ammos Hotel is a heartwarming atmosphere that is created by the personnel of the hotel and especially Mrs Maria. Also the location is perfect. We enjoyed amazing views of the sea from our balcony.

The double bed had a wooden part in the middle. It was more like 2 singles.

It is close to the airport. We chose it for convenience. There are many restaurants a short walk away and the beach, while not spectacular by Greek standards, is right outside. The room was incredibly clean. Staff were very friendly.

Bathroom door is a glass panel, no privacy when using the toilet, plus it doesn't block any noise from the bathroom. Also, the walls between the rooms are quite thin and you can hear your neighbors, but only sometimes. The balconies of the side sea view rooms are very small, barely enough for two people, but it was a very minor inconvenience. !!! NOT RELATED TO HOTEL, BUT LOCATION: Public transport is a mess in the area. Bus timetables are not respected, you must have coins in order to purchase tickets inside the buses and the ticket machines do not give change. Also the bus drivers will often NOT stop in designated bus stations unless you press the "STOP" buttons in the bus with enough time to spare until your stop.

Staff was extremely friendly, everything was clean. The food they make is very tasty and good value for money. Location is great; The bar staff takes your order for drinks and food right on the beach, which is in front of the hotel, and brings everything to you. During an entire day of being on the beach, two people can get food and drinks for about €50-60. Also there is no price for the chaise longue but there is a minimum amount you have to spend in order to spend the day at the beach, around €10 per person, which you would otherwise spend on food and drinks anyway. In the room there is a stovetop with overhead smoke evacuation, and pottery + cutlery and it is clean. Cooking and eating in is a great alternative to going out for every meal.
