Very friendly staff all over the hotel. My compliments for the people at the reception, the buffet, the swimming pool, the bar, the cleaning etc. Great place to stay close to Nafplio center. Well maintained hotel. Would recommend.

The facilities do feel a bit outdated.

The hotel is located in a beautiful and calm place, trees and Mountain View’s everywhere but still close to Nafplio. The rooms are great and spacious, pool and staff were great and the breakfast is good.

Smell?

Nice hotel with everything you need (breakfast, pool, fitness). Close to archaeological sites (Mycenae). It is a bit dated, but this a part of its charm.

Loved everything

I loved everything about this hotel, it has a beautiful classic vibe! The breakfast is wonderful, the staff extremely accommodating, we loved the pool, and had a gorgeous view of the castle. Private parking which was great, we would drive into town for dinner, and the price is affordable for what you get. 100% recommend for kids and young families.

Probably needs an update in some areas.

It’s an older grand style hotel with a big pool, gardens and the rooms are big, clean, comfortable and have a view. An excellent breakfast was served in one of the many dining rooms and the staff was very helpful.

Large comfortable hotel and large rooms with fridge and complimentary bottle of wine and Greek snacks. Fast welcoming check-in. Long breakfast time. You need a car as the hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the centre, which means it's nice and peaceful.

Honestly, I loved it all

I needed a quick get away that allowed the comforts of the city but the beauty of the country. I loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and enjoying the quiet:)

Been going to Amalia in Nafplio for 15 years. It's a heavenly relaxing hotel with exemplary service, nice facilities, great food, large rooms, all in a beautiful neoclassical building.

Carpets need updating n beds were hard

The property itself was very convenient the location we love the pool. It was very spacious. The breakfast buffet was out of this world. My only complaint was the rugs definitely need to be updated in the entire hotel and then our room and our bed was a bit hard other than that, it was fine.

Our only minor problem was that we had a room without balcony or garden and it was difficult to dry our swimming wear and beach towels.

The hotel was exactly what we wanted! Comfortable beds for us and our 3 months old baby. Spacious room and perfect service. Breakfast was nice with a big variety. Pool was big enough and the set up very pleasant. The distance from Nafplio town was short and the access very easy. We will book in the same hotel next time.

The bathroom was not cleaned while we were there. We got fresh towels every day, but the floor wasn't mopped. The toiletries weren't restocked. Location is a bit far away if you haven't got a car.

The room was spacious. Water, wine and sweets in the room. Fresh towels and chocolates. Lovely swimming pool. Exceptional breakfast. Convenient layout of the room. Nice view of the local castle at night. Polite staff. Plenty of parking.

Larger shade umbrellas would be nice. Main floor room Balcony/terrace could be more open, felt closterphobic

It is in a good location. The whole property it was nice and beautiful. The room was clean and spacious. The pool was clean, same with the garden. The days I spend there, there was a wedding celebration at the garden which seemed beautiful and well prepared! I will definitely stay there if I ever visit Nafplio again!
