It was brilliant. Everything there. Starting with the pool , the room ( 200*200 cm bed - truly a king size ; very big and clean bathroom ) but the most brilliant thing there is the host and the staff. We loved it !!

Amazing and friendly owners, and a lovely peaceful environment. The whole place was exceptionally clean. A great location to explore the north of the island and the east coast. It was nice to have a bar open during the day for snacks and refreshing drinks.

Everything! The location was perfect. We stayed in a villa just for us 2. It was amazing. Very cozy villa/hotel/appartements. Every day house cleaning. The service was amazing. The most kindest people. Chris and Tassia. As a couple we enjoyed the stay. Also if you have kids you can have a very nice stay. Next time you when we come, we will also bring our family. It’s a perfect stay for families. Thank you tassia for your hospitality.

Our stay was amazing! Everyone was so helpful, friendly and generous and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The accommodation was lovely with an excellent pool and a great location. The rooms were in great condition and a big size. I would definitely recommend!

Internet and cellular reception was somethimes bad , but it is not hotel problem it is Greece problem :) I would move here and work from home only if the internet is good enough :) Anyhow you are on vacation and we can manage bad connection for few days :)

Everything is very clean. Pool is perfect, deep and big. Market is near and good bakary also. You need a car to get to popular beaches. Town is 10min by car. Host is very nice lady and she does her job owning and runing this hotel perfect !!!

The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. The airconditioning worked perfectly, everything was superclean and the hostess is the sweetest, most accomodating woman. My husband was sick the first 2 days and she made him a special lemon drink to get better. So sweet! The poolbar was cute and had all the basics, the kids were crazy about the tortillas:) The pool was clean, everything was perfectly maintained and the apartment was cleaned on a daily basis. We had an amazing holiday!

We spent 14 days at Alkyon and it was by far the best experience - from arrival to departure. The hospitality and service is phenomenal and we are really going to miss this place. They have our warmest recommendation and we are definitely choosing Alkyon for our next trip to Lefkada!

There was a quite density of cleaning in all around the hotel. You can easily notice it. And ofcourse the hospitality was beyond perfection. From very beginning till the end of our stay, we were treated so kind by the owner, the reception even the cleaner persons.

We really enjoyed our stay in Alkyon, Thasia and all the team, George, Christ and Georgina were incredible nice, we felt like in family at home, very nice host always looking after every little detail to make our stay really comfortable. Recommendations from them were always 100% good. We had free bikes to go around every day ,that was a plus, the swimming pool very nice, the island , the food and people amazing. We have no words to express our gratitude to Thasia and all the staff for being with us like our family. Definitely we will come back next year. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy a family and relax environment.

we received such a warm welcome from the moment we arrived. the hotel is really pretty inside and outside alike with a beautiful garden and pool area. the rooms are cleaned often and well looked after and the staff are very friendly. it is well located with lovely tavernas, bakeries and a market within walking distance. the bar was well catered with a variety of drinks for children and adults. our apartment (one bedroom) was spacious and had everything you could need.

We were made to feel very welcome immediately on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. The whole area - room, pool and surroundings was very clean and well tended. The hotel is in a quiet area. There is a small mini market and a bakers 5 minutes away and the bus stop for Lefkada town to Nidri is a few minutes walk (bus approximately every 90 minutes). Lovely.

I’ve never had the level of service we received at the Alkyon in Lefkada in all my years of travel and stay at various hotels, airbnb’s, etc. This is by far the most amazing place and not just because of the location, property or amenities (which are also perfectly comfortable), but because the people who own, run and maintain the property are what make it the best place to stay in ALL of Lefkada. And the property speaks for itself; it’s lovely, clean, affordable and accessible to everything. Our stay exceeded all expectations. We had a very big apartment for a family of four with a toddler, who absolutely loved the pool and the sweetest treats from the people running the place. Every room was so clean, with soft details throughout, and the most beautiful wood detailed roof. It was spacious and so well kept. We felt at home throughout our entire stay, and that is the best feeling when you are far from home. Thank you for leaving us with the best first, and hopefully not the last impression. From the moment we were greeted by Tasia, as we stepped out of the taxi, our holiday began. Smiling with open arms she sat us in reception, presented homemade pumpkin pie (yum) and showed us a map of the island, on which she had made suggestions as to where to visit. We were introduced to Georgia, whom I had exchanged emails with and who had arranged our taxi from the airport and our hire car, so nice to put a face to a name😀. Our room was lovely, looking out onto the pool and beautiful surrounding gardens. High spec bathroom with a great rainforest shower (hand shower also available) and a large comfy bed. Tasia had left drinks in the fridge on our arrival, and some snacks. Kitchen had everything we needed. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels and all surrounding areas are kept immaculately. The pool is wonderful, shower outside with plenty of sun beds and an outside shower block with toilet facilities. Tasia, Chris or Georgia are around all day not only to serve drinks/tea/coffee at the bar, but great to converse with and for restaurant suggestions and maybe what to do for the day. By the way, Chris makes The best Aperol Spritz 10\10 Beach is a 2 min walk away, plenty of excellent restaurants nearby to choose from, on the beach front or on the road. Everything is fresh and so delicious. Supermarkets nearby, Lefkada is a 10 min drive away ( bustling old town with plenty of bars and restaurants and shops), Nidri is a 15 min drive away, plenty of bars, shops and restaurants ferry connections and boat cruises. We completely understand why couples come back to stay at the Alkyon for maybe the 4th or 5th time, not only for it’s peaceful and tranquil surroundings but also, Tasia, Chris and Georgia are some of the most kindest, friendly, welcoming, accommodating people you will ever meet, nothing is too much for them, from booking taxis, organising your excursions, reserving tables at restaurants, Tasia’s home made yummy treats!
