RomaniaEverything was great and amazing at the hotel. We got a free room upgrade from suite to an actual house with a private pool. The staff was extremely polite and friendly without being over friendly. If it were up to me, I would not change anything. Food was really good and had plenty of options both at breakfast and dinner. It's the perfect place for relaxing and having a great time. Only problem is that you don't want to visit anything else while staying there.

Starting from the comfort of the rooms, to the equipment, to the exemplary cleanliness of the spaces, to the service of the staff who try not to leave any wish unfulfilled and ending with the private beach equipped with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas. In my case, the experience at this hotel was exactly as I was promised on the day of arrival: a memorable one, from the first to the last day of my stay.

United KingdomThe pools were cold and realise we visited early in the season but if one pool could have been heated that would have been great.
The breakfast buffet had a lot of choice and there was something for all tastes. The hot food was always hot, bread fresh, nice fruits, pastries, hams and cheeses. We also ate at Dunes and the dinner choice was also excellent. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were cleaned every day and kept very clean. The spa offered a lot of treatments and I had a very good pedicure. The hotel location was also good, a quiet spot ( May visit)but close enough to walk to other places and right on the sandy beach.

We went to the SPA and the lady from there told us that we had to make an appointment because the sauna is not prepared, so we've made an appointment for the next day. The next day when we went again to the sauna she said that we must wait because the sauna is not prepared and it was very cold inside. So, my question is what is the point to make an appointment, we were very disappointed and we left.

RomaniaThere is absolutely nothing that I can mention here.
We were impressed since the time we entered the reception lobby. The host served us cold champaign while we did the paperwork for the check-in. We received a room upgrade (private pool). The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and the bathtub huge. The housekeeping was exceptional, every day we received linen and towel change, bath supplies replenishment and minibar refill. The courtesy of the staff was beyond our expectations, every need that we had was fulfilled. Regarding the restaurant, it is hard to find word to describe the variety of menus or the taste of deserts. The waiters were very fast and the choice of drinks was huge. Four nights were not enough for us to even try one quarter of the menu. Everything we ordered was included in the "Ultimate Golden Hospitality", meaning that we didn't have to pay anything extra beyond the accommodation fee (all-inclusive). I also want to mention the "Dunes Beach Bar", where the bartender impressed us with some specialty of the house cocktails, also included in the package. I would totally recommend the "Grapefruit Ricky" cocktail, which was amazing. The private beach is also very close to the resort, no more than 50 meters from our room. Every umbrella had a terminal from which you can order drinks or snacks, which was amazing. I would also like to thank the manager Anastasios Alvanos for the goodbye letter I have received on the email after the checkout, for his amiability during our entire trip and for the passion he puts into his work, which is truly remarkable. Our mind is already set for revisiting this resort the next year.

Literally, everything about Alexandra Golden Boutique Hotel is exceptional. First, the owner welcomed us with an unexpected upgrade: maisonette with private pool - which was fantastic! Second, the location itself, including a closed private beach with sunbeds (like “back in the garden” close), assisted by a super friendly staff, from breakfast to dinner, all day long. Excellent food, excellent everything, absolutely no minuses. Definitely, a unique location, strongly recommend it for a quiet, relaxing vacation! Thank you, Alexandra Golden Boutique!

RomaniaInternet connectivity is poor in the whole Thassos island, thus is not something than can be related to the hotel. Anyway this doesn't matter if the goal is to relax - there were plenty of options how to spend the time without internet

The location is just excellent - right at the Golden beach. There is quiet and peaceful private beach exclusively for hotel guests. Very helpful and friendly stuff. The breakfast and dinner is excellent! Please note, that man required to wear long trousers at dinner. The bathroom and bathroom are very nice. They upgraded us to marionette with private pool which was a very nice. Thanks for that and for the excellent time!

However, the real treasure of this resort is its staff, starting from the hotel manager, who upon just mentioning that we are celebrating a special occasion immediately upgraded our room, to Vidka in the breakfast area who arranged with smile a special meal for my husband when he felt unwell, and to each and every person we met who welcomed us with a genuine smile.
