Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandThe internal courtyard is covered with concrete which can get hot (and radiate heat) during warm days.
Simple room with access to the balcony and internal courtyard full of fruit trees! Very friendly staff, top location close to small shops, fish port and beach; everything within walking distance so no need to use the car (free parking under shadow is a big plus). Definitely recommended.

United KingdomAll good.
We have stayed here before and the Owner Nikos, and the Receptionist, Annemarie, remembered us. Good private shaded parking across the road, provided. We stayed 3 nights on a Half Board basis. We always eat here. Good value for money. Great food. Really good breakfast buffet with lots of choices and also Fruit. For Dinner during our stay, we got 1 large Salad, 1 Appetizer, 2 Main Courses, Bread and Dessert. Try the Vanilla Ice Cream because it's Yummy! Lots of traditional dishes to choose from too. Ask how you want your Eggs done. My partner had Eggs and Bacon...Lovely friendly Staff. Comfortable bed. Everything works! It was very quiet when we visited. About 45 mins. drive from the Airport so very convenient to take your hire car back. We recommend this hotel and will come back again. Koroni, Methoni and Pylos are all an easy drive from this location. The beach is about 2 mins. walk away to your right hand side. It is an organized beach with Umbrellas/Sunbeds/Cafe. You only have to buy drinks/food up to Eur 7 which is very easy to do. It is a mixture of sand and small pebbles.

The location was perfect for a two night stay. For a small village it had good restaurants and facilities. The view from our balcony was beautiful and peaceful. Private parking was a bonus!

CanadaWe were given a very warm welcome by the front counter person, and she dashed outside to show us where to park, wish we had gotten her name, she deserves special mention. Our room was extremely *clean* and easy to feel comfortable in. The breakfast was exceptional, highlights included: an array of cut-up fresh fruit, an egg, ham and potato dish which was delicious, good coffee and freshly squeezed juice. Everything was speedily replenished when needed. We enjoyed eating our breakfast on the waterfront patio adjacent to the marina.

SerbiaWe understand that it is the end of the season, but it is unacceptable that only 10%-15% of the menu is available. It was not difficult to adapt the menu.
A small, modest and excellently located hotel. Polite staff. The food is excellent. Meals are served in the garden of the restaurant just a few meters from the sea. We are giving a higher rating because of the girl at the reception. Ana Maria is always smiling, kind and ready to help. A big greetings to her.

United KingdomTry and avoid rooms 105 & 205 which are very close to the lift as you get noise from the machinery and people using it. 105 gets a lot of lobby noise too. 105 had a shower curtain that was dark blue and too short. With limited lighting in the bathroom, it was very dark in the shower and water went everywhere. Also found it difficult to switch from tap to shower mode.
This is a very nice small hotel overlooking the harbour with an ok beach close by. Staff go the extra mile to help. Food in restaurant good too and reasonably priced.

EstoniaThe room cleaning was unsatisfactory, with a very dirty floor. There was no cleaning performed during the two-day stay.
The staff was very polite, responsive, and pleasant. The breakfast was delicious, and it offered a view of the sea. The prices at the hotel's tavern were reasonable. There was a private parking area in a shady garden. The hotel had a good location, close to the beach.

Excellent wifi I tried the excellent food in the hotel restaurant also the Mediterranean breakfast with organic products and fruits and vegetables from the hotel's exceptional garden. It was great to have the company of the birds at breakfast time, a rare experience. It is an excellent place to stay at. It was truly worthy! I would definitely recommend it! Plus reasonable price totally ... I decided to stay there on our summer vacation in July-August , so updated review coming soon....

SlovakiaIf you are looking for pure relaxation, this hotel is the right choice! We were there for the first time with my husband in July and 2 months later I came back with my 2 girlfriends. We had a wonderful time! The small family hotel, lovingly run by the owner Nico (?), is located directly at the quiet little harbour, with a wonderful restaurant terrace. We had freshly squeezed orange juice as a welcome drink and for breakfast. Apropos breakfast-The breakfast is really fabulous (even 4* hotels can't compete with this in terms of quality). Lunch and dinner can be chosen from a menu card - everything is fresh. And delicious :) Rooms with small balcony terrace, sea view. Rooms a bit older, but everything clean, beds comfortable, fresh sheets and towels every day, staff very friendly and helpful. If necessary, the reception also organises taxi (warm regards to Alexandra) and gives friendly answers to all questions. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel there are small shops, pharmacy, café and other restaurants & small bar. I love to travel, i travel very often- but this quality and for such price- unique:)

United KingdomEverything was good for us and we have no complaints.
My Partner and I stayed 4 nights end of June. Buffet Breakfast with a good choice and daily changes of foodstuffs. There was lovely fresh fruit too. The Orange Juice is freshly squeezed. If something wasn't out on the Buffet, i.e. my partner wanted Eggs and Bacon a couple of times, we were informed that we could ask for it and it would be cooked to order; which it was! The Cook knows how to cook fried eggs PROPERLY! Thank you! The Restaurant here is really serving great food. We took the Half Board for Euros 12 each per day (we are a couple) and it was well worth it. Dinner was a choice of salads, 2 Starters, Bread, Main Course and Dessert. A lot of home made food is made on the premises. We didn't even bother to eat anywhere else because the food was so good but there are a lot of Restaurants very close to the Hotel. Everyone, without exception, was so nice, friendly and helpful. From the Manager to the cleaning staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Very good central position in village. 2 Beaches (one sandy and one with very small pebbles) very close by. The water for swimming was a lovely temperature. Not cold. We hired a Car from Kalamata Airport. Safe and easy covered parking across the road from the hotel. Very easy to do day trips from this location (Koroni, Methoni, Pilos, etc...) and it is only 40 mins. drive to the airport in Kalamata. Daily cleaning and our sheets and towels were changed all the time too! Very clean Hotel. We even borrowed 2 Beach Towels. Quite a lot of TV Channels to watch. There are 2 Bakeries by the hotel, 2 supermarkets and a little gift shop across the road. We couldn't find any fault with this lovely Hotel and Management and Staff. We loved it and will be back. IsraelIn the evening there was an open show few hundred meters from the hotel. We were not told about this show, and it lasted until 03.30 AM at night. The "upgraded room" that we ordered was highly affected from the noise, even when the window was closed, which prevented the sleep. Worst thing was that once we complained about this to Nikos, the owner of the hotel, instead of apologizing and/or offering a regular price for the "upgraded room", he rebuked us saying that if we are looking for a quiet place we should have reserved an hotel not in the city center.
.Breakfast was great with many options, the balcony where we ate had a great view of the beach.
