The only thing i can say is that there is no door to the shower , so the bathroom floor was full of water all of the time.

It was an amazing vacation, All of the team members were so attentive. The location is amazing, and I would definitely come back in the future.

Nothing that the hotel can control, the only drawback for us, as non smokers is that everyone staying there seemed to be a heavy smoker, there was no escaping the smoke 24/7, but hey, that’s Greece!

Every single thing. The location was at the better end of the beach, water was clean with small waves. The hotel and the room were absolutely incredible, so clean and modern while being very comfortable. We had a room that opened straight out onto the garden, a few steps from the pool and restaurant. This was our fifth hotel room in Crete and was by far the best, so sad that we only had one night there. What really made the stay memorable was definitely the staff, from Elizabeth at reception, to Lula, George and all the bar staff. These guys work so hard and go out of their way to make everyone happy, they deserve recognition from their employer because they are a great asset to the business and demonstrate the very best in customer service.

It would be nice to have a small dish towel for the kitchenette, and washcloths for the bathroom.

Very friendly and eager to please staff. (Lulla is a gem). Great beach location, very modern and complete rooms. Nice pool. Great pool bar. There is a reasonable charge for the beach chairs. Lots of music which could be heard from our sea view room, but it's not played late at night.

The rooms could be upgraded and redesigned, but they’re still comfortable. The bed sheets and covers were uncomfortable and feel like hard paper, the wall behind the bed contained some stains and the room door is quite old.

The property is amazingly located, plenty of space for everyone, with the beach right at the feet of the hotel. The people there are just amazing, with a smile on their faces all day long, which made it feel like home. The beach is amazing, sandy and super nice.

We didn't like that we had to leave.

We loved everything 💜. The room was wonderful and clean. The hotel offers everything you can think of (pool, beach chairs and umbrellas, showers, great food and bar, beach towels etc) and the beach is sandy with crystal clear water. The staff is amazing - just wonderful people. Just a wonderful wonderful experience.

Look, this is one of such places that you feel very sad to leave. Perfect spot for a week in Crete. We stayed there for 7 days and used rental car to drive around but every evening we enjoyed quite and sandy beach near to the property (50 meters). The welcome drink, the owners who strive to make you feel at home and part of the family. Now, Malia is known to the party goers, but the location is in the quite part of the city, so we would't know the busy streets if we had not gone there walking through the city. So good destination for families who seek quite place !!! Bar is open only to 21.00 which tells you owners appreciate need for piece of their guests.

The hotel is right on the beach and the rooms were gorgeous. The staff were incredible and Elizabeth and Lula made us feel right at home straight away. Bar staff were fantastic. We have only positive things to say about staying here and would recommend to anyone - we will be back !

What an absolute amazing property!!! We went as a group of 13 girls for a lovely holiday and the hotel and staff were so accommodating, so friendly and full of life. The hotel is right on a lovely beach and has a great pool with comfy lounges and a lovely bar serving great food and drinks. Although it is still a family hotel as a group of young girls on holiday we enjoyed every moment at Akrogiali. The hotel if you’re thinking of booking a party holiday is a 10 min walk to strip with great restaurants close by. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more! Thank you so much!

There was music at the pool all day long. In may mosquitos are a problem...

The place is very beautiful, everything is absolutely tasteful, our apartment was brandnew, very stylish and beautiful, spacious and had a large terrace with beautiful furniture, surrounded by palm trees... The amazingly nice, wonderful receptionist Elisabeth is the loveliest person I have ever met at a hotel, she was extremely friendly, so helpful, pleasant and speaks fantastic German. The beach is beautiful, the views are pretty, the location of the hotel is surprisingly quiet.

Very nice location, everything was wonderful!! The beach just 10 meters from hotel marvelous view with mountains and other restaurants just 10 minutes walk! Rooms were very clean staff very kind and friendly!! Even if there is no breakfast they have bar and kitchen just outside, you don't even have to go somewhere else. Everything was so perfect. No more words. Definitely coming back here soon!

We came across this place by accident. Stayed here for 7 days but would have stayed longer if we could. The hotel has been owned by the same owner for 30 years and has taken great care of it with recent modern renovations. It has a great pool with loungers and chairs, a pool bar/restaurant with lively hotel staff OPA!!! 😆 the hotel is on a great beach with loungers and umbrellas. The water is crystal clear, sandy and shallow for quite a long ways. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and shops. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Oh I want to go baaaack! Book it! You won’t be disappointed!
