The building and apartment are a bit outdated and there is a bit of a climb to the accommodation, but you get the view.

Very clean, quiet accomodation. We had a very good, quiet, spacious apartment at the top floor with a nice view of the sea and the neighborhood. There is a very nice, warm, clean pool. The staff is very friendly, the cleaning was done daily and very good, including washing the dishes. Very spacious balcony with the Apartment with king size bed. Overall I would recommend. The photos of the apartment on booking.com are very accurate. Although we arrived at aprox 11am we were given the room before the regular checkin time, after only a 20 min wait.

A Perfect Cretan Getaway! My husband and I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Agrimia Apartments during our holiday in Crete, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service that set the tone for a truly memorable holiday. The hotel is situated in a stunning location, above Platanias, offering breathtaking views of the Cretan landscape and the sparkling sea. The walk to Platanias is only a 10min walk downhill and maybe a little longer coming back up, this wasn’t a problem for us as we love taking in our surroundings and all the restaurants en route back to our hotel. The Beach is approx 15mins. Our room was impeccably clean, spacious, and traditionally decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. We particularly loved the private balcony at the front and back of the apartment, where we spent many evenings watching the sunset with a glass of local wine or glancing over at the pool. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel’s stunning pool area. Surrounded by lush gardens and plenty of loungers, it was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. There isn’t an onsite shop but the local mini market is only a 5min walk. The staff at Agrimia truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The cleaners do an amazing job around the Hotel and always very friendly. Anna was always on hand to offer helpful recommendations for local restaurants, attractions and excursions, making it easy for us to explore and enjoy all that Crete has to offer. My husband and I took two boat trips, one to Balas beach and the other to Theodorous island- both of which were brilliant! Anna was amazing at arranging hotel transfers to and from the hotel, which enabled us to seamlessly relax and not worry about arrangements. Very grateful! In summary, Agrimia Apartments Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way.

Horrible WIFI.

Very nice apartments and swimming pool. The building is a little rundown especially on the outside. The apartments are by no means luxurious but have everything you need. The building is located on a relatively steep hill. It's about 10 minute walk to the main street of Platanias. So it's not for everyone I suppose. But there are many restaurants on the hill itself. We enjoyed the location because we has a nice sea view. Incredibly good cleaning.

We were aware of this and it didn’t bother us, but please be aware it’s a good walk up a steep hill to get back from the beach/town, unless you have transport.

Agrimia Holiday Apartments suited our needs exactly, close enough to Plataniás main strip and beach, but situated up the hill in the older part of town, where it’s quiet. Facilities are good with a lovely pool, good views and plenty of nearby restaurants. Staff were friendly, super helpful and our room was spotless.

If you have mobility issues you might find the walk up the hill to the village a bit challenging. Only 5 mins to the apartment from the main strip though .

Rooms are comfortable, clean, en well equipped. All staff was very friendly and very easy to work with. Ideal location to explore Platanias on foot (great restaurants nearby!), or the other beautiful beaches with our rental car.

That it was not information about that at the superior room was in other building, I did expect balcon but it was only a terrace with no wiew .

Website suggested beautiful views from balcony but having paid for a superior apartment / room we found we were on the ground floor with new view. Somewhat disappointing when we arrived to find we booked the most expensive apartment but had no view.

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The facilities are great and the hotel staff are amazing. The apartment was cleaned every day. There is a lot of amazing restaurants nearby and only a 10 minute walk to a large supermarket. It’s also only 10 minute walk to the beach. We definitely recommend staying at this hotel! Ps. Anna, the hotel host, gave us newly picked cherry tomatoes from the garden which were so delicious - I have never experienced this before when staying at a hotel :-)

The accommodation is in a very good location, restaurants and shops nearby. The host was very nice, they cleaned the apartment every day, and they always changed towels and bed linen upon request. The pool is beautiful, you can relax there a lot. There is also a shallow part of the pool, which is also ideal for small children. From the accommodation approx. There is a separate parking place for hotel guests 30 meters away. It is true that you have to climb a steep hill from there, so it might be difficult for elderly people.

The WiFi was not very good and did not work in the bedroom. The shower drainage did not work so water leaked out onto the electric plugs in the living room. The lights on the balcony did not work.

Most days the mgmt sent someone in to clean the apartment which was an unexpected bonus. From the balcony we had a view of the bay and the sunset. It was always possible to sit by the pool abd the pool area was secluded.
