It was the second time in this hotel and we really enjoyed our time. Yannis is the best host you’ll ever meet and the apartment is perfect in all ways. We will come back next time we visiting our beloved Rethymno 😍

It was stated that there was no parking on site. We knew that going in. Being totally unfamiliar with this area, I did not realize how far parking was from the hotel. Yannis did everything he could to help, the walk to the hotel was not ideal (remember when I mentioned being grouchy because I was overheated….).

The location, as everyone states, is wonderful. The room has everything you need (and more…fresh fruit). The host (Yannis) was very helpful…even when I was grouchy from being overheated. One specific example, he walked us to “the famous” phyllo dough factory.

The property is in the heart of the old town and so convenient for everything. The large sandy beach is around 15 minutes walk away. The bed linen is so soft and comfortable, the apartment spacious and spotlessly clean. The place is made even more special by the owner, Yiannis, who cannot do enough for you. He is so helpful with recommendations and makes sure everything is fantastic.

Everything was perfect. The host was very accommodating and had always asked about our day. Also, giving us a complete guide of things to do and suggested great food places. Everything in the apartment was clean. As we left to check, we received gifts from the host. Its been a huge pleasure being a guest

Nothing I can think of!

Yannis is an amazing host who welcomed us with a very generous fridge full of fruit and explained some of the history of Rethymno. We were even offered a bottle of champagne. We mentioned that we liked raki better and he cheerfully brought that instead. The building is just off one of the main streets so it's very quiet. The room was a very comfortable size and the bed and bedding were super comfortable. Afroditi will be my first choice if I ever visit again.

My son and I really enjoyed this place. We were greeted by Yannis and were able to check in earlier because the room was ready. Recommendations, with a map and with information about the sights, a bottle of homemade wine, fruits and water in the room. There was everything we needed, clean and comfortable. On the day of our departure, we were given souvenirs as a gift, and it was very nice. My son said he wants to stay in this apartment again. Thank you very much and I recommend it.

Location is very central... In the old town. Super host who is so very welcoming and will cater to anything you need. He even left us some healthy snacks and drinks in fridge!! Parking is free at a given location which is great because the area is mostly pedestrian. Room is cozy, clean and quiet even though it's in the middle of old town. Would surely stay there again!

Fantastic welcome and the best location right in the old town. Very quiet and spacious room. We loved the big bed and two balconies. Yannis was such an amazing host. The Greek hospitality and helpfulness was 10/10 The only thing we would change was staying longer! We would have loved to have stayed for longer, it’s the kind of room for a good length of stay because it has a lovely big bed and a Kitchenette and table and chairs, it even had a washing machine

Exceptional accommodation, fully equipped with style, very spacious, clean and comfortable, perfect for a family with children. It is located in an excellent location in a quiet neighborhood, in the city center. Don't worry about parking, there are free spaces for guest. We enjoyed ourselves, all praise for the hosts.

I wish they had parking closer, but that wasn’t a problem at all . We enjoyed the walk from the parking spot to the hotel.

I have no complaints!

The best thing about Afroditi is the host, Yannis. Previous reviews I had read said he was a great host and boy, is he ever! He's easy to communicate with, generous (we were welcomed with wine, fruit and water) and helpful with recommendations. He even walked us to our first restaurant and introduced us to the owner! Meanwhile, the room was nice and clean with everything we could need including a well-equipped kitchen and a balcony overlooking the street and with a view of the sea just two blocks away. The boutique hotel is conveniently located in the old town, so meals and shopping are just steps away. And there are swimming beaches within walking distance as well.

Yannis was a super friendly and welcoming host. My friend and I were very happy to stay with him. The small alley in which the accommodation is is super quite which makes it very nice to spend the evening on the balcony.

Located In the middle of old town and has all the facilities one can think and unthink of. The owner Yiannis was an extremely warm host which many of the guests have also confirmed. Increadibly welcoming person, a true example of Creatian hospitality, friendliness and warmth. He welcomed us with a bottle of Champagne at our arrival.🍾☺️🌴 The apartment we rented was very cosy and had an elegancy of old architecture. We had a wonderful stay at Afroditi Hotel. It’s for sure to highly recommend it.

We loved our stay at Afroditi. The accommodation was fantastic, very well equipped with all you could possibly need. The host, Yannis, was extremely helpful with meeting us and taking our suitcases to our room, parking etc. nothing was a problem.
