Nothing at all, the place is perfect

What a way to start a holiday!!! From the moment the gorgeous Thomas met us at the airport we were treated like rock stars, nothing was too much trouble and he happily pointed out short cuts and places of interest. We then met George at reception who has a smile that could light up the world and he was just as wonderful giving us a room upgrade to the sunset wing, and he even tried his absolute best to get the NRL Grand Final on for us to watch!!! Thomas took us to our room and made sure we were comfortable and then we met Blonde George who brought our luggage to our room and was our friendly bar man as well, them another Thomas drove us into town and gave us fabulous recommendations for dinner. Georgio took us to hire an ATV and gave us advice on how much to pay and he was super friendly too. The sunset was fabulous, breakfast was awesome with lots of variety, the short cut walk into town was great and Aeolos is just far enough out of the hustle and bustle of town without being too far. The pools were fantastic and the jacuzzi's were too. Panos, you and your staff are what made our stay so memorable and as I said this morning unfortunately we were checking out, because I could have stayed forever!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our first experience in Greece such a fabulous one.

Nothing - really great, all around.

This is a family-owned place, not a big corporate property, and it shows in everything they do. The level of service and care, all around, was exceptional. Panos is the owner, and he personally welcomed us warmly on our arrival. This is what a family business should be. The room was in the Sunset Wing, on the second floor, with a terrace overlooking the equally beautiful Sunset pool area. The Sunset wing is about a 5-minute walk along the property past the Daylight Wing, and well worth it. The pool is immaculately clean, they provide live music each evening at sunset, and George does a great job manning the bar and taking good care of all guests. A very chill vibe. The room itself was basic and comfortable, sparkling clean, well-maintained, with a very comfortable bed, wifi, and good air conditioning. We spent little time in the room so didn’t need a luxurious suite. Breakfast was included in our rate and it did not disappoint. They put out a huge buffet each morning. There is something for everybody, no matter your dietary preference or restrictions. The hotel restaurant is bright and clean, and unsurprisingly, provides exceptional service. The tables are cleared seemingly every minute. The location is perfect for what we wanted: a 0.6 mile, 15-minute walk downhill to Hora the historic and beautiful port town of Mykonos. It’s an easy walk down but we recommend taking either the bus (Ano Mera route) or a taxi back. The bus stop is directly across the street from the resort.

This is an Outstanding Hotel! We have stayed at resorts/hotels in all four corners of the world and this is one of the best! Firstly have you ever stayed in a hotel that offers you a free upgrade and choice of room? Well this one did! Our upgraded Sunset Suite was amazing! Everything about this hotel is first class & 5 stars! We loved everything about the hotel from beginning, during our stay and right up until the end!

From the minute we arrived at Aeolos, we were totally blown away. We were greeted with the most warmest welcome by all the staff as well as Thomas whom collected us from the airport. We were instantly made to feel like part of the Aeolos family and knew we had made the right choice to choose this place for our trip. Nothing was a bother whatsoever for anything we needed or asked for. Every single member of staff from Panos the owner, his wife Maria who greeted us with the utmost welcome every morning for breakfast, George who was always so helpful, Thomas, Kostas, Theodore at the Daylight pool bar who was so efficient from beginning to end and always on hand to check if we needed drinks/food etc and that’s only naming a few as there were lots more staff who were just exceptional! A massive thank you to you all for making us feel so at home during our stay, both myself and my parents. A special thank you to Maria too who went out of her way to sort a last minute hair appointment for me for my birthday and for the added kind gesture from herself and Panos for the champagne and dessert on my birthday morning. This was truly appreciated. We are also extremely grateful for the free airport pickup and drop off (thank you George for being so kind to take us back to the airport at 4 am - very very kind of you). The free drop off into town were also an added bonus and again we were very grateful for this. The food was exceptional too, from the vast selection at breakfast to the food served around the pool. Panos was extremely generous to upgrade my room so that I could stay in the same section as my parents and this was such a wonderful gesture so thank you once again. The hotel has three pools to choose from and a wonderful sunset view with saxophone player in the sunset section which we got to witness twice during our stay.

Wow, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. Great Hotel with hands on owner and friendly highly efficient staff. They offered free transfers from the Port to hotel and from hotel to the Airport. They also provided us with full rundown of the Island and the town. We only stayed one night as we were catching a flight out of Mykonos. We generally prefer the smaller less busy Islands, but next time we travel through Mykonos, we will definitely stay an extra night or 2, mainly due to our experience at this hotel. Highly recommended!!

The service was outstanding! The breakfast provided was wonderful, we also enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel one night. The owner of the hotel was very kind and accommodating. We were able to get a ride down to Mykonos town several times as they were going. We really appreciated our stay at Aeolos!

Wow what amazing service!! Arrive as strangers yet leave as friends is a motto on a sign near reception and we can see why! The level of service and attention really made our holiday in Mykonos, the pick up from the port and drop off to the airport was so much appreciated. This hotel should be listed as a 5 star hotel as that is the level of service you will receive :-) -- The room and facilities were absolutely perfect and we couldn't of left any happier.

There wasn't anything we didn't like...

Our stay at Aeolos Resort was nothing less than perfect! Panos the owner of the resort welcomed us on arrival and throughout our stay the staff made sure we were looked after. They also offered free transfers from the airport and into the town centre which was a lovely bonus! We would highly recommended anyone to stay at this beautiful resort.

Everything! We were upgraded to the Sunset Wing, which had the most stunning views of the Sea, pool and Sunsets. The facilities were spotlessly clean and modern, and the breakfasts were astounding with as many food choices as you can imagine. I cannot comment on the Dinner menu as we did not eat there. The Owner, Panos, clearly loves what he does, and he has assembled the very best staff in every capacity throughout the Resort. The warmth and friendliness from every single one of them was genuine, and that could only come from Panos himself in hiring exactly the right people. Our housekeeper Stella was very helpful, thorough and kind, and George who waited on us at breakfast and staffed the bar in the Sunset Wing in the evenings was equally as kind, courteous and friendly. The transfers to and from the airport were provided by the hotel, as were any trips we wanted to take into town. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. We highly recommend this Resort and would love to return again, only for a longer stay.

Nothing it was perfect

The property was beautiful, clean rooms, huge comfy bed, lovely views and amazing pools! The staff were incredible, definitely the most hospitable place I’ve ever stayed - we were upgraded rooms due to it being my partners birthday, free transfers to and from the airport, a free birthday cake and even a laundry service. Almost any request we had was dealt with instantly 11/10 for service! We will 100% be back the whole place is incredible and not to mention the short walk into town. Genuinely could not have had a better stay.

Incredibly windy this week, so the pool felt a bit cold. But we went swimming early every morning anyway. Brilliant once you're in! Some airplane noise, but that cannot be avoided on a small island. After all we also arrived by plane...

The free airport transfer is a top-service of the hotel. The owner let us choose between two rooms and we ended up with a free upgrade to the Sunset Wing. Brilliant! The breakfast buffet is just simply devine! The owners and the staff are extremely helpful and do everything to make you feel welcome. Nice pool-bar with good food and cocktails. Beautiful sunset views from the pool. Mykonos-town can easily be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. Happy to come back any time!

What an amazing sanctuary this is…we only stayed the one night but we’re able to choose our room. We we went for a room in the sunset wing and what a treat it was. We also sampled the food which was excellent quality and good value for money. Another bonus was a free transfer to and from the hotel. This hotel clearly understands service delivery, it’s staff are it’s greatest asset and strive to give you an memorable experience from start to finish. Well done the Aeolos team!
