Well it's old town Nafplio, so walking, hills, and lots of steps will usually be involved if you stay there. The Acronafplia is up top, and that's the only way to get such a great view, so it's an acceptable trade-off for us. Parking is a little competitive up there, but we've always managed to find some spot nearby.

This is a great location overlooking Nafplio and the harbor. Our room was nicely decorated and very spacious, with a balcony. Super clean, with all we needed. Our host was very responsive to our needs, even getting together a breakfast for us the night before we had a very early start to our next adventure. And the breakfast every day was great, with the option of it being served on the common terrace or our room.

Nothing. It’s really perfect for short or long stays in the Peloponnese.

This property is the perfect place to base yourself for a few nights or longer, it is ideally located in the old part of Nafplio but above the busy streets so that it is peaceful. The hosts are superb, looking after us with the most beautiful breakfasts each day and helping with finding the best beaches or other travel tips that only locals would know. We would come back in a heart beat.

It was very, very hard to find, even with a GPS. You have to park by an abandoned hotel on the road up to the fortress, then find a very narrow road/alley (too small for any car), then walk about 100 meters to the pension itself. It took us more than an hour to find the place. We first found an office downtown that runs the place, but the man there gave us very unhelpful directions. Once you find it, though, all is wonderful.

Truly great breakfast, beautiful location overlooking the whole town and harbor, very close to the fortress. The rooms were really exceptional, beautifully designed and decorated, some very unusual in their layout. A wonderful, helpful man runs the place.

The property is beautiful, as shown in the pictures. The town is tight, and so is the location. Everything is well functioning, and the host has been helpful. The breakfest was very good.

No kettle to make tea however, we were able get hot water and cups upon request no problem.

Beautiful view from our room and private balcony. Much better than photos. We even had a view of Bourtzi Fortress. Our room was immaculate and was very large in size. I would definately recommend Pension A to others. One of my favourite stays so far.

Very nice host. The apartment is conveniently located in the old town area with walking distance to many attractions, situated on an elevated spot overlooking the ocean and fortress. very well maintained with a lot of attention to details. We enjoyed so much during our 1- day stay exploring Nafplion, dinner on the harbour, wondering around the cute little town,hike to the castle in the morning and come back to the hotel for a nice breakfast on the terrace. Very very cozy.

Breakfast is on a small terrace outdoors, there is no way to avoid any potential other guests smoking a meter away from you. Hardly avoidable and not really the fault of the nice people running the place but still annoying.

A bit hard to find and the brother that runs the other Pension without the A is a bit quirky and not as helpful as he could be considering how hard it was to actually find.

Bit difficult to find…. Park in lot at bottom of castle and walk a ways to hotel. Not well posted. This hotel is above the city and not in town along the water. You can walk down to town but know it’s a hike!

The breakfast are cold continental. Plenty of carbs little protein. Greek orange juice puts Flodidas to shame. Bread and toast is served. I've learned that when the Greeks say toast it is a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Coffee was excellent.

LOCATION LOCATION THE PLACE IS LOCATED NEAR THE FORTRESS OF AKRONAUPLIA IN A COMMUNITY OF HILLSIDE HOMES (NOT FOR THE MOBILITY CHALLENGED). THE PARKING LOT IS A SHORT WALK OVER UNEVENLY PAVED STONES TO THE ENTRANCE. THE CENTER OF TOWN IS 175 STEPS DOWN. OUR ROOM WAS BEAUTIFUL STONE WALLS LIVING AREA ON THE LOWER LEVEL BED BATH AREA ON THE UPPER LEVEL. ROOM HAD A REF AND A 1.5L BOTTLE OF WATER WAS PROVIDED DAILY. OWNERS ARE VERY PLEASANT AND GRACIOUS.
