Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location in a very busy and beautiful city. Close to everything that we wanted to visit and a nice roof top view to the Acropolis that we found late in our stay!

CanadaThe only thing I can think of is the air conditioning didn't seem to quite reach the bedroom area so it was a little bit hotter than the rest of the apartment.
The apartment was very clean and spacious and in a great area. The bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept in. It was also very nice that they left a bottle of wine for me. I wish I could have stayed here longer.

United StatesNo real amenities felt like i was staying in NYC apartment with no door man. Location is tucked away and the stairwells were dark and elevator was like 100 years old but everything was operational. The apartments obvioulsy been renovated but common areas haven't been touched mainly stairwells for decades.
Very nice apartment. The building wasn't the nicest but the room appeared to renovated and was very nice. No amenities in building outside of your room. Great location in middle of town easy walk ding distance to all the sites to see. AC was good given how hot was in August. Nice place to relax after walking around in 100 degree heat.

United StatesI had to check out by 11 so I had a bunch of luggage I asked for a later check-out time they couldn't accommodate me since they had other guests booked. They did however give me storage info to store my luggage upon leaving that was convenient.
The apartment was very clean, the bathroom was spacious, and a beautiful bed. I like the welcoming bottle of wine that was great!

AustraliaIt was a little tricky to find at first as the neighbouring building also has a similar name on the same floor. Just follow the host instructions and you’ll find it no problem!
The property was very clean and modern. It was very close to shopping and food. There is a lift to access the rooms which is convenient and it’s close to an automated luggage storage for early or late check in/out.

I couldn’t recommend the apartments more!! The apartment was in the most perfect location for central shopping & restaurants. A 6 minute walk to monisteraki square and it was so clean and safe!!! The entrance was easy to locate, we used the taxiplon service they suggested for airport transfer and wow! The car was amazing, on time and took us as close as he could to the entrance. If this is your first or even returning time to Athens I highly recommend. Panagiotis was so helpful and messaging along the way incase we ever needed anything!

United KingdomThe only downside is the emergency exit light above the door. It faces the bed and was so big and bright it was impossible to sleep. We ended up covering it with a towel.
The location was amazing and the flat was very good quality. The shower room in particular was great and the bed really comfortable.

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Athens city! It was spacious, clean and had all the amenities required for a short stay! Access to apartment is via keypad and there’s no reception. Our code wouldn’t work upon arrival, but was quickly rectified when contacted property. Room fitted out well with a fairly spacious bathroom. Also fitted with a washing machine. Location is perfect just off Ermou, half way between Syntagma Square and Monastiraki. Acropolis, Agora and Plaka all within walking distance. We were greeted with a couple of bottles of water and a bottle of wine which is thoughtful.. Highly recommend this place.
