We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe location isn’t the nicest but it has a great pizza place 5 min walk and plenty of parking so can get a car and travel around. The host (husband) made us feel uncomfortable and on edge.
The property was quiet, low-key, comfortable, and hostess (wife) was friendly and full of knowledge! There were also so many cats around it was fantastic.

NetherlandsCleanliness could be better, especially the furniture and kitchenette outside. The breakfast is limited. There are very few restaurants withing walking distance from the hotel.
Nice setting with low buildings around a pool in a lovely garden. The room was quite spacious. The owner is friendly but she is a lot around at the hotel since she also lives there, so this is something some people might like while others would miss privacy.

PolandWe came to the "Hotel" 2 days after local flood, so pool (main attraction) was dirty and closed. With full understanding of the situation, there was no info before booking about current status and not even single word from property owner side about any potential discount. Moreover, "breakfast" it's some kind of joke.

ReunionThe owner wasn't pleasant when we arrived, however she was nice at the end of our stay. Too many cockroaches in the room, the bed was a bit too hard. The room was too small for a couple, smaller than I expected though.
The decoration in the room and overall the property and garden are lovely! Breakfast was ok, the bread was good and the banana jam amazing!
