Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The owners (Mr. Roman, his parents, and his sons) were extremely friendly and welcoming They did everything needed to make us comfortable. They value the human touch and relationships more than money and business. The location was great in quite district near city center. The breakfast was something to return for.

South AfricaEverything from the welcome we received (with a little traditional Georgian food, a glass of Georgian wine, and some Chacha!) was excellent. Breakfast everyday was great too, and our hosts, Roman and Zhenya, were very accommodating with an early breakfast on the day that we took a tour out of the city. Rooms are large, spacious and comfortable and the hotel has a rooftop terrace where we would look out over the city in the early morning and late at night. The hotel is a 15 min walk from the main attractions near the river, we liked this, but be aware if you are less inclined to want to walk. Bolt (like Uber) is cheap in Tbilisi and easily available. I had a minor medical issue on our last day in Tbilisi and again our hosts could not do enough. Roman raced me to the hospital in his car, and stuck around while I received attention. Very grateful for everything they did to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Roman and his family went out of their way to welcome us. On arrival we were greeted with delicious local food and wine. For our stay nothing was too much trouble, they helped us with anything we needed. Cars, guides, restaurant recommendations. Facilities were excellent, lovely and clean, beautiful balcony with view and great location. We will definitely visit Winoterra again.

United StatesWhat a treat! The place is so unique and welcoming! Exactly what we needed after exploring Georgia for a couple of weeks! Perfect quite spot in the center of Tbilisi. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. Small boutique hotel with warm, kind and professional personnel. Roman was so attentive to us and helped with everything we needed - airport transfer, SIM card, cash exchange. And the breakfast! OMG! It was so, so delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler.

United StatesImmaculate hospitality for 3 nights at the Winoterra Hotel at a great price. Roman had arranged a pickup at the airport as well as installation of a local phone service and currency exhage the following day. The breakfast is top notch feast sourced with locally sourced organic products. The wine collection had not a single bad wine with reasonable prices and shows great love and understanding of the wine craft. The accommodations are new, modern but still retaining the charm of old town. Feels like I came home and not a hotel. Superb location just outside the hustle and bustle of old town Tbilisi with the much needed quite rest but still close enough to get to everything by foot. Trully a masterclass in hospitality and a great way to be introduced to Georgian hospitality.

RussiaNo complaints whatsoever.
All reviews praising the amazing hospitality in this hotel are true - the welcome, and all days spent in their felt like we were members of the family, with lots of warm regard, kind attention and proactive support in every need. The hotel is walking distance from center of the city, but in the meantime it's in quiet residential part, so we had good air, peace of mind, and great sleep. The rooftop terrace offers beautiful view of the city, and fireplace below offers warm comfort of home. The breakfasts are beyond expectation with family food, local flavor, and highest quality local products.

SwitzerlandThe hotel is well situated, the building is modern and well maintained. Roman and the staff have been more than welcoming and warming people. They were very kind and helpful with us, as we were part of their family. Each part of our stay was perfectly organized, for example the breakfast was always very good, copious and handmade. I recommend Roman and his hotel without any reserve. If we come back in Tbilisi we will reserve in Winoterra for sure!

LithuaniaExeptional small hotel with open terrace overlooking old Tbilisi. We were impressed by hospitality of the owner of the hotel who takes care of every guest personally offering vine from small Georgian vineries , local quality food. We were even offered hot breakfast in 5.30 am, not the packed one, as we were leaving early! The stay was excellent and extended all our expectations.

United StatesNo complaints - this hotel is perfect for the style of hotel it is
the hospitality is absolutely amazing, especially from the owner. He did everything in his power to make sure that my trip to Tbilisi was amazing, even with the language barrier. the staff made my stay extra special, proudly showing off Georgian specialties and the owner personally shuttled me to the airport on arrival and departure at 2 in the morning both times. The care that they showed is second to none. The hotel itself is nice and cozy, it was a very comfortable stay. The hotel is located within all the highlights of the city. I’ve been to 30+ countries and stayed in countless hotels, it’s not an exaggeration to say that this is by far the best hotel experience I have ever had.
