Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. BelgiumVery nice accommodation located in the heart of Old Tbilisi. Everything was near walking distance. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. This hotel had a relaxed and chill vibe. The best about Tbilisi Tales were the young, easy going owners and their dog Tetri that made us feel at ease and welcome from the moment of our arrival until our departure. The residence also has a communal room downstairs where it was possible to chill, consume tea and coffee and even play Nards. We even received a bottle of wine as a present upon our departure. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a hassle free stay in the centre of Old Tbilisi.

IsraelThe welcome of Sandro and his partner was above all expectations. The place is a bit hidden from the main road so Sandro came out to me especially to the main road to receive me, he made sure I had an arranged parking. They welcomed us from Ated pleasantly, they had a more upgraded room that was available so with a really small extra money he changed the room for us. Breakfast is served between 8-11 and is flexible with the times and the food is very, very tasty and according to customization from a basic menu. The meal is served in a nursery that is arranged in an authentic and pleasant manner. Sandro and his partner helped him with every question, recommendations on restaurants and places we wanted to go. Me and my son who is 14 years old were very very satisfied with the hospitality, the atmosphere and the warm welcome. The place is highly recommended

Wonderful hotel, located in the city center. The managers are very hospitable people (we became friends with them immediately). The room is very clean and spacious. The view from the window is just beautiful. Our room overlooked the courtyard of the old town. We had a small child, and it was very convenient to go for a walk along these old streets. Many thanks to the hotel owners, we will definitely come back more than once❤️
