Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandNothing - it was all good
I was met on arrival and shown the studio. It was spacious and included a separate kitchen as well as the ensuite. The bedroom had good aircon and the shower was great. The kitchen had basic tea and coffee supplies. The location in the old town was fantastic, being only a 5 minute walk to the clock tower.

GermanyNothing at all.
The bed was comfortable, and the apartment was super-quiet. It's perfect for one or two people. The balcony with peeks of interesting street life is a big plus. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there is even a washing-machine. Loved the little Turkish coffee maker! The internet connection is strong. Communication was easy and pleasant. All in all, a little gem.

BelgiumThe private bathroom is outside of the suite itself, but in a remote corner of the corridor so still allowing a lot of privacy. The shower space in the bathroom is a bit tiny, but that did not affect the overall positive experience.
Very good place in a perfect location. The suite we stayed at was spacious, well equipped and comfortable.

PolandWould be great to have the shower fully searated from the rest of the bathroom (there is a glass door but only covering half). That's a very small thing, though, not affecting the high quality of my stay.
Everything was great: spacious, well equipped room (electric kettle, tea bags, corkscrew, fridge), big window allowing lots of light (not a common thing in the old town), modern design (loved especially all those cute bicycles! <3). Heating worked very well (important in December). The owner checked me in before the official check in time which was super nice. Location is great, 3 min walk from Freedom Square, yet in a very quiet area. There is a beautiful tiny cafe just around the corner. I generally loved the place and will definitely come back!

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and the room is quiet. The owner is kind and helpful. If arriving at the train station you can easily take the metro and ride three stops and it’s a 10 minute walk from there. Good location. Breakfast is reasonable priced and good.

GermanyThe pics of the hotel showed a quite better room.
I arrived early in the morning and it was difficult to find the small hotel in the old town of Tbilisi because there are at least three different hotels starting with "Silver". But the landlady opened after knocking some time on the door and was helpful. I even got a small bottle of wine. The room was simple, but quiet and okay for a short stay. WIFI worked good.

NetherlandsMy room was on the ground floor right next to the entrance door, so I could hear noise from the street and couldn't open the curtains due to privacy. I asked for a quiet room, but didn't get it.
The hotel is located in Old Tbilisi, within walking distance of Freedom Square. My room was nicely decorated and clean. The lady who received me was super nice.

Breakfast: breakfast is very good. specially porridge. View: I booked a suite as the hotel located in narrow street so the view was of quite street. Sleep: I was having a good but only problem which I was early morning sunshine which was coming fr the another room they should have put the curtain over there as well. SloveniaDuring our visit it was way colder than expected in this time of the year, so the rooms were cold as well. There were enough blankets and air conditioning that worked in one room, for the other two we should probably ask. The breakfast starts at 9am since it is prepared by the owner herself.
Extremely nice staff, perfect location in the center of Tbilisi, good price, delicious breakfast. Small family hotel, it felt like coming home after the working day. The transfer from/to the airport was arranged by the hotel for a good price and payed in the hotel, so you have no worries with the drivers. The entrance door was locked and can be opened by code, which is very handy, so you don't need to carry keys or bother the owner if you're coming late.

GeorgiaRude and overconfident host. No clear communication or courtesy. Last minute asked to paid extra money even when I had booking for 2 and I checked in late night. I argued that this is a bad experience with them, but she takes pride in old reviews and says she doesn't care a damn for my review anywhere. Struggles to understand clear English. Another day no water or coffee sachet provided whereas I paid full amount as day 1, I paid extra as well but nothing extra provided as tissue paper, soap or anything. Wifi was NEVER provided, no three pin slots for charging your drone, camera or phone, the other lady in house spoke only Georgian which was horrible experience as she didn't understand anything. You argue and host is lecturing to go stay in 5star and carry your extension cables but I had extension and even that won't fit. The hot water kettle was full of chalking. Ceiling was chipping. Washroom is horrible standing size only. Ac leaks and works weirdly. Lighting is terrible. I checked out and found a great Airbnb half the price a km away from Liberty square. It's not a hotel, it's not even a proper airbnb.
Only the fact that it was near city

IsraelConstructions works in the hotel while I was there Very cold rooms, no AC and the heating wasn't good enough No cleaning between during the period I stayed there (4 nights) Not always easy to get the reception, sometimes I got no answer when ringing the bell, the owner is nice but doesn't speak English. They didn't always have towel and coffee when I asked for. It's ok as an apartment, but far away from an hotel standard
Big room, very spacious Price is affordable It was clean when I entered the place Stuffed kitchen with everything you need Nice and friendly staff
