The room is a bit small and the shower could use a door as the whole bathroom is flooded when taking a shower (even when you're super careful). Also, the bed is a bit hard and the breakfast is missing some more healthy options like oats or water. We still enjoyed our stay there because the owners are very nice.

I believe it’s one of the best places to stay in the city. New family hotel, with the best owners❤️ All the furniture etc new, in good condition. Cozy and clean room, clean sheets, comfortable bed and pillows. Nice breakfast from 8am (it’s important if you like to wake up early). Absolutely astonishing view on the mountains from the room. But if you take a room on the other side, without view on Kazbegi, there’s a couple common terrace and the dining hall with the direct view- so you just need to wake up early (we saw the mount 3 times before 8 am, then it was too cloudy). There wasn’t AC in the room, but the weathers wasn’t hot (I suppose usual in this region), but there was a central heating for cold times. Here’s a small parking lot for 4-5 cars and the cutest playful dog ❤️ in the yard (take a break from sightseeing and hiking and play with him for a minute!) Overall there could be some things to be improved, but they are minor. Besides, as it’s a new place, I believe the family will manage to save the warmth of this place and make it better step by step.

The bed wasn’t that comfortable, a curtain in the bathroom would be helpful as the floor was getting really wet after a shower and a full size mirror is missing in the room.

We booked two rooms at Rooftop Kazbegi on June 26 and it was a fantastic experience! Stepping out of the balcony, you can see the snow mountain peaks in full, stunning and unobstructed view (see photos). It was truly an awe-inspiring moment when we entered the rooms. The property is not in the town center but rather higher up on the slope facing Mount Kazbek - this provides a much better view of the mountain. It is very close to Rooms where we had a great dinner. This property is also very quiet at night because it is far away from the major road running through town. I would say the location is perfect for staying in Kazbegi. The rooms themselves are good too - they are clean and have all the facilities you can expect. Overnight temperature dropped to 0 degrees Celsius during our stay and the heater was turned on - making the room quite comfortable. And finally, the staff are truly superb and they made our stay in Kazbegi even more memorable!! We stored our luggage at the hotel and then went on to hike to Gergeti Trinity Church. After the hike, we had to catch the 5pm minibus back to Tbilisi but we were running late. We asked the hotel if they could deliver our luggage for a fee. They were so nice that they delivered our luggage for free, and insisted on not accepting our payment. This hotel truly made our spectacular stay in Kazbegi even more spectacular!

Very nice guesthouse with new and clean room, wonderful view from the balcony, fabulous hosts who were very kind. There was no official breakfast but we had a nice coffee and cake. There is also a small kitchen if you want to prepare something. Great place to stay!

The hotel is halfway up a mountain with a great view, which also means that the road from the town center to the hotel is quite steep, like climbing a small hill, which took about 20 minutes, when we took about two breaks with our suitcases in tow. It would have been nice if the hotel had a transfer, but the hotel owner did say that the car had broken down just then. Secondly, it would have been perfect if could pay by credit card. We didn't have much cash with us and had to exchange it in the town center, and the exchange rate at the kazbeji town center exchange store wasn't very good.

I was very satisfied with the view of the room, in fact, as long as the room facing the mountain view side of the room can be connected to the corridor as well as the balcony, the snowy mountains can be seen in full view, which is exactly the reason why I chose this hotel and was satisfied. Unfortunately, the weather on the second day was not as good as I had hoped and I was unable to capture the view of the sun shining over the mountains. Next is the part that made me exceed my expectations. First of all, we woke up late the next day, the hotel owner she guessed that both of us haven't eaten breakfast yet, so she shared the cake that she made, which was so delicious, but unfortunately, we are not good at speaking English, so we couldn't thank her in person for her thoughtfulness and hospitality. The last thing that happened was that I will never forget this hotel in Georgia! What happened was, when we left Kazbeji and took the minibus to Gudauri, we didn't realize that our backpacks were left out on the the mini bus. We only found a picture of the kazbeji bus stop from our photo album, and we couldn't find any contact information. We tried to contact the hotel owner in Rooftop Kazbeji, hoping that we could get the contact information of the station. What we didn't expect was that the hotel owner not only found the driver, but also contacted us several times on our behalf, and the hotel owner asked the driver to give us the backpack on the way back to Kazbeji in Tbilisi. When we lost the backpack, we thought that it was probably gone, or the hotel owner she would just pass on the phone number, or how much she/the driver would have to charge us, and that it didn't happen! Even the hotel owner and driver didn't complain to us at all.
