Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandThe entrance and lobby of the building are super chaotic with many people moving everywhere all the time. Sometimes you have to wait 10 min (really) for an elevator to arrive and once it arrives it is not sure you will get to your destination floor anytime soon
Amazing view of the city and the city, great location just by the sea, close to the beach, shops and anything you need. Nice, simple apartment with a balcony. Comfortable bed, smooth air conditioning

LebanonHowever, there were a few areas where we felt improvements could be made. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the apartment was not up to standard. There was a bad odor coming from the bed covers, and the electric hot water pot also had a bad smell. This impacted our overall comfort during the stay. The service, too, left something to be desired. We had to wait a considerable amount of time at the reception before being handed our keys, which was frustrating after a long journey. Additionally, the elevator system was problematic and caused significant delays, eating into our time and causing inconvenience. I also suggest considering the installation of phones in the rooms. During our stay, there was no direct way to contact the reception in case of an emergency or if we needed something. This would greatly improve guest experience and ensure that help is readily available when needed. Thank you for considering this feedback. I hope that these suggestions help in enhancing the quality of service at your hotel.

FinlandWe reserved a one-bedroom hotel room for four people, which included one double bed and a sofa bed. The double bed was not made correctly, so I had to make it myself. The sofa bed wasn’t opened or made at all, so I had to do that too. There weren’t enough blankets for four people, and when I asked the check-in/out staff for more, they promised to bring them but never did. The building has 12 elevators, but they are so crowded that sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes to get down to the first floor. This was very inconvenient. Despite being four people, we were initially given only one key. When I requested more, they only provided one additional key, leaving us with just two keys for four people. There is no housekeeping service during your stay unless you pay an extra 70 Georgian lari. Additionally, you won’t receive towels, shampoo, or shower gel, and there weren’t enough towels for four people.

GeorgiaI recently stayed at Orby Hotel, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I booked a two-night stay for two adults and two children, but our stay was plagued with issues from the start.First, the room was only equipped with one blanket and bedsheet, which is far from adequate for a family of four. Additionally, there was no hot water, and we were not informed that we needed to plug in the water tank to get hot water. This resulted in us not being able to use warm water on the first night. We also had to wait over an hour to receive extra blankets.The second night was even worse. When we returned to the hotel around 11 pm, there was no electricity in our room. I went down to the lobby twice to report the situation and explain that my children were scared due to the darkness. Despite being promised assistance, nothing was done. After a third trip to the lobby, I was assured that an electrician would arrive in 10 minutes, but nobody came. It wasn't until 7 am the following morning, after I went down again, that an electrician was finally sent to our room. He informed us that one of the circuits had an issue and resolved it.Overall, our stay at Orby Hotel was a nightmare. The lack of communication and support from the staff was unacceptable, and it caused significant distress for my family. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and hope that they address these serious issues to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.
